*Irokoi 色恋* is basically the term for host BFE(boyfriend experience) where they act like they are their customer's lover and encourage the customers to come back to meet them often, which is the stereotypical image of a host in a club.
*Tomoe 友え／友営* (from 友達営業 friendship business) is a type of host who act like platonic friends to their customer. Because of this, they tend to get less returning customers and are less likely to be able to get their customers to spend high.
