According to the Law, the president is not allowed to benefit from foreign spending without consent from Congress. If were Joe Biden what would we say. When Timmons was going to be "absolutely destroyed" by Raskin, Timmoms reclaimed his time and with the help of the chairman, prevented him from responding and so I will respond here for him instead. The ONLY income a sitting president can have while in office is his presidential salary. It really is not that complicated, I promise.

Actually Timmons lied about the value of the money and tried to say that it does not count. In reality any money not just profits a President receives has to be cleared by congress before it can be accepted. All other presidents have moved their businesses into a blind trust so there is not conflict. Trump is such a control freak he cannot follow the rules of being a president and then tries to overthrow the same government when he loses.
He can only take money from the US citizens as a presidential wage and no other money. Timmons is just lying and trying to say money is not money because they were already paying it. The law will catch up to Trump and he may end up owing more millions.

She has not the authority to arrest him, the DOJ does. You can't put someone in jail without trying them, according to the Constitution. I will also point out that the January 6 Committee worked with people to get the testimony the needed. Sometimes that meant compromising--like they did with Jenni Thomas, for instance. Don't be surprised if the DOJ refuses to do anything with the Contempt of Congress request that is coming from a committee that refused to work with people to secure their testimony.
