(12:35) Missouri admitted as a slave not free state, and Maine admitted as a free state not slave, the old switcheroo. EDIT (1 year later): *_WHAT'S UP MR.PATTY'S CLASS! GO APUSH CHS!_*
Your videos are beyond helpful!! Thank you so much :) Could you make a video with tips for the DBQ/Long Essay/Short Answer and MC? I have a really easy time memorizing events but when it comes to the writing section, I have a more difficult time pulling together all of these ideas.
I just want to thank you so much for all of your videos! They have really been helping me through this class by clarifying certain topics and reviewing for tests. Thanks again!
What’s going on Apush peeps, we have Apush review period 4 (from 1800-1848) i don’t know that’s kinda long, but imma try and do my best to get that done in 10 minutes. You know what’s going to be on the exam so let’s get going.
Great vid! One mistake Maine is a Free State! Missouri was a slave state! Make sure to note that accordingly, if you are reading this! I want you all to get 5’s!
Okay so hear me out, John C. Calhoun definitely looks like Dracula, Dracula is a Vampire, in 1850 when John C. Calhoun died Abraham Lincoln was 41, and many seem to believe that Abraham Lincoln was a Vampire Hunter. So plot twist what if Lincoln thought Calhoun was a vampire and got him killed, with tuberculosis.
hi guys! aiming for a three for tomorrow even tho i just started studying tonight. heard from predictions that the questions were gonna be from periods 4 and 5 so i am CRAMMING
My name is Elisha Pierre-Auguste, I'm a student a Beau Chêne High school in Arnaudville, LA. This videos are very helpful and my instructor suggested these, so thanks, so helpful.
Is this a good short answer response???? any feedback is appreciated. Video thumbs up:) The Compromise of 1820 was an important federal proposal regarding slavery in the period between 1800-1850.The compromise stipulated that all states above the 36-30 line would be free and all states below would be slave. Although the compromise effectively mediated tensions temporarily it had little long term effect as it was over turned by the Kansas- Nebraska act of 1854.
Thanks for the reply... I really needed it...I'm thirteen and am teaching myself apush. I posted more responses on the other videos and if you have any feedback for those I would REALLY apriciate it.Test in eight days!
It’s the weekend, I had an event on Saturday so half of it is already gone. I’ve been doing homework since seven AM without any substantial breaks. Now it’s midnight and I am to tired to read the pageant. I pray daddy Norris is enough to save me from my AP quiz tomorrow. I will update with my grade tomorrow Ehh 88, hopping to do better on the tes
Found it ironic that while speaking of the Seneca Falls Convention and the women's rights movement, you had a picture of Fredrick Douglas appear on the powerpoint. Maybe wait until you talk about abolitionism to show him? It would be more appropriate to have Elizabeth Cady Stanton or Susan B. Anthony show up while talking about women's rights, and then wait a few seconds, until abolitionist subjects, to show Douglas! That said, your videos are extremely helpful! Keep doing what you do.
I love you Adam but I’m almost positive that in the Missouri Compromise, Missouri was added as a slave state and Maine was added as a free state, not the other way around!
Adam, thanks for all the videos, you're a legend. Got my exam next week and I'm confused on why Jackson was in favor of the tariff of 1828? I thought that the democrats were against tariffs? Or was Jackson just crazy and the exception
I feel like you could’ve talked more about Andrew Jackson and his beliefs and effects on the nation and all that, cause there’s a lot on it and I’m having trouble understanding mainly that. Also, causes and effects of the war of 1812. And the panic of 1837. Those are things I needed to study more on but you didn’t include too much.
“That would be a great short answer question.” APUSH 2020: “who’s gonna tell him...?”
😂 so glad it’s just a DBQ baby I can partly bs my way thru 🤙
If my knowledge of APUSH belonged to a political party, it'd be the Know-Nothing's :( Exam on Friday.

When your exam is literally in an hour
2020 prep week
12:37 Maine is added as a free state and Missouri is added as a slave state
Because of the Missouri Compromise, I think you said Louisiana Comp., MO was admitted as a slave state and ME as a free state.
Midterm exam today this might save me
Adam, thanks for all the videos, you're a legend. Got my exam next week and I'm confused on why Jackson was in favor of the tariff of 1828? I thought that the democrats were against tariffs? Or was Jackson just crazy and the exception
You Mixed up Manie and Missouri (Manie-Free and Missouri-Slave), but overall great video.

I feel like you could’ve talked more about Andrew Jackson and his beliefs and effects on the nation and all that, cause there’s a lot on it and I’m having trouble understanding mainly that.
