Coventry Godiva Carnival Procession 2009 - Part One

With Coventry's industrial & musical heritage plus Olympic themes this year, the annual parade once again brightened up the city centre as it made its way to the War Memorial Park to join the Godiva Festival.
Part One features the start of the parade with videos and stills of the Triumph RBL Pipe Band performing "Scotland The Brave", Lady Godiva, the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire mascot "Colin the Woodpecker" and some very colourful floats and dancers. [ Perform your arts out? City College etc. ] It's not quite in chronological order - the brownies and the girls in red are in Part Two.

Very spectacular! I wish I were there to join and enlarge the audience. Heard the coverage on the BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio via the Internet, but now I can see the video. Thank you very much!
