    I read turning the handle slightly before pulling out the needle can also help the stitches stay in.

    Does punch hole process dont need to razor ? Unlike on tufting gun process.

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It would create a cleaner look like when you use it after the tufting gun! I just didn't have one to shave the yarn with 😅

    What glue are you using? And how well does it handle? Cause it looks like an elmer/school like glue, but normally see people use some other toxic glue for carpets.

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly? It was school glue from the dollar store 😂 it’s held up pretty well so far! The rugs haven’t fallen apart yet, but I also don’t know how well they’d hold up to a wash since we haven’t tried it yet

    How big was your canvas?

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahh sorry for the late reply! My total frame size is 81cm x 86cm, but the size of the total canvas area I was actually tufting with is 73 cm in length x 41cm in width :)

    Wonderful , i'm searching some ideas on TH-cam & Pinterest for pinch needle rugs but yours is the most attractive 😍 is it possible to share the pattern ? As I'm not sure I will know how to draw the same !

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Shoushou, thank you for the compliment! Unfortunately there's no pattern because I drew it by hand 😅. I'd suggest maybe saving a screenshot on your computer, enlarging it and then printing it out. You could then cut out the sections and trace it onto your fabric? I hope that helps and good luck!

    hi!!! i don't expect an answer but where did you get your punch needle??

      @pengquynh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hii Charlie! I got it from Michaels, here’s the link :)

    Please tell the the name of this cloth/thing that u used on the back side of this..

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is called monks cloth (or tufting cloth)! It has a special type of loose woven weave that lets you punch needle through the weave to make the yarn loops for your rug :)

    • @mamtarani2423
      @mamtarani2423 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okk.. But the grey color cloth on back side of this.. What is that? Please tell

    • @pengquynh
      @pengquynh  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mamtarani2423 ah my bad 😅 that was just leftover broadcloth that I used. I’ve also seen people use felt and nonslip fabric that is found on baby slipper bottoms!
