Even when she becomes his zombie slave, he could still end her if he wanted to. She never stood a chance, living or undead.

Not to harp on the MC but it definitely feels like She is not capable of pulling off on a preteen male voice and feels like a low pitch feminine voice

It’d be an ironic subversion if she became more humane after becoming a zombie. It’d be ironic if a necromancer of all things made her care about life again, humanity. Then again, he could just “throw her away” when she outlived her usefulness to him. Idk, just once it’d be interesting to see one stereotypical psycho in anime rediscover their humanity and become more, chose good, and abandon whatever violence made them that way. But, it’s often the scars we can’t see that are the most difficult to heal from.

@@ShepherdXander eh, well anime adaptations really have made manga and novels really crappy now, but if this turns into a basic isekai with zero development of its characters and the same OP MC gaining powers than character, I wouldn’t be surprised. Isekai have done that 96%of the time
@Justin Carbaugh The series is by the author of Baccano, so no... It's not a typical Isekai. I decided the read the manga and I'm 51 chapters in. It's really an action crime drama with the occult and a giant mystery. In fact, this series is closer to Black Lagoon with occult elements than anything else.

As a hardcore dub fan, this is one of the times when the sub is better than the dub. Misaki’s voice just isn’t right in this dub.
