The Transformers film we deserved. T1 and this are my absolute favorites. T2 to T5 (or was it T6) were just Bayhem madness with little to no heart in the story. The transformations in "Bumblebee" doesn't feel lazy or has a 'cut-away sound' and then transformed like a few times in Bayhem's version. This is legit a really great film.
Nah the transformations were lazy, they were just more upfront about it. In almost every one you can see panels just folding behind the character's bodyparts revealing the already complete parts of robot mode.

We're on our 5th or 6th MP BBM Prime offering now, each one being vastly different, while the 07 Primes were all based on the same figure just tweaking the few details that were off about it. One of the ways you can tell how good a TF design is is how many attempts it takes to make a high end transforming figure of the design. And by this scale, MPM 03 Bumblebee is currently the best transformers movie design because NOBODY has attempted an upgrade on it.

Wonderful video. I love how many transformations there were in the movie and how clearly they're shown! The bay movies missed that after the first couple. The transformations are some of the most fun parts of these movies. No reason to obscure them or not show them.
Well fewer transformations in a movie does mean greater focus and more importance to the ones that are there. In Bumblebee it quickly doesn't feel like transformations are important because we constantly see them, even the scene when Bumblebee transformed in front of Charlie felt washed out by the sheer amount of times he transformed.

This is really satisfying to watch. One of the things I really enjoyed while watching the Bumblebee Movie were the transformations. While there was a fair amount of Mass shifting as the Cybertronians altered their form you could see all the parts move about to reconfigure themselves into the next mode, especially from the scene where Bee is transforming into Robot mode above Charlie in the Garage. One part moved out of the way as other parts took hold of themselves to alter the appearance.

Literally no. Transformers movies are pretty shitty in general. They have no plot and focus on humans too much. Bumblebee was pretty decent, but in general there are so many franchises that are better
I couldnt figure out what exactly was different about the transforming animation compared to bayverse, and i think now its because this movie had lower quality models, higher framerate, and just the way the scenes are shot. In bayverse movies there is more camera shake and lower framerates making the models look phenomenal, but in this movie the shots are cleaner and more exposed (if that's the right word), allowing you to actually watch each individual part move into place on their bodies. It really goes to show that you dont need Michael Bay's budget to make a good looking movie lol.

These transformations, seem to morph and shapeshift, like the 80s cartoon. Like Bayformers Bumblebee, you could see his Camaro headlights transition onto his robot mode like hard and real tangible parts. Here the Volkswagon headlights like shrink and disappear then reappear somewhere else.

this movie was such a giant step up from the messy pacing and shyt that were going on on the screen in the past movies, in this one there is actually a story that you care about, characters, and more importantly, it doesn't straight up jump into conclusion with megatron vs prime and reveal absulotly everything, it actually starts just with bumblee in the whole movie not many major characters, and i hope that girl won't stay as the main human character there should be many, this movie allows for many more transformers team up and spin off movies with fine stories and great pacing narratives and stuff like that, i hope they continue make more sequels and stuff, mcu kind of took the attention of everybody, i am kind of sick of mcu right now, wether that or dceu doesn't matter, i want these back
Which makes them feel awkward as the transition makes less sense. There's way more panels just folding behind the character and disappearing than in the rest of the films.
The shots are definitely steadier and more pulled back, but you can see that so many of the car and robot parts just get folded into the body of the robot or vehicle, rather than shifting and bending around to form different structures. I love seeing both, though.

I like how the reboot transformations really more like the cartoon where the head slides into the engine, or the feet slides into where the wheels will be. The Bayverse trilogy made it seem more complicated. Like machinery sliding into some random spot.

Legit, transformations in the bayverse looks like its running on 5 fps cuz its so complicated and messy Transformers BB looks like they are transforming at 70+ fps cuz u can tell what part of what goes on the robot. Hell even the triple changer Dropkick and Shatter made sense

this movie was such a giant step up from the messy pacing and shyt that were going on on the screen in the past movies, in this one there is actually a story that you care about, characters, and more importantly, it doesn't straight up jump into conclusion with megatron vs prime and reveal absulotly everything, it actually starts just with bumblee in the whole movie not many major characters, and i hope that girl won't stay as the main human character there should be many, this movie allows for many more transformers team up and spin off movies with fine stories and great pacing narratives and stuff like that, i hope they continue make more sequels and stuff, mcu kind of took the attention of everybody, i am kind of sick of mcu right now, wether that or dceu doesn't matter, i want these back

Which makes them feel awkward as the transition makes less sense. There's way more panels just folding behind the character and disappearing than in the rest of the films.
The shots are definitely steadier and more pulled back, but you can see that so many of the car and robot parts just get folded into the body of the robot or vehicle, rather than shifting and bending around to form different structures.
I love seeing both, though.

TLK03 Productions secondo me bumblebee lo batte il primo. ci sono quelle scene su cybertron bellissime e i decepticon che sono gestiti COSÌ bene da fargli sembrare veramente potenti e spaventosi, dandoti quella sensazione di grande minaccia sia in numero che in forza(come anche un po nel primo) che nn è detto gli autobot possano battere
Si la scena su cybertron è stupenda, e i decepticons hanno finalmente una personalità! Ma il primo film resta intoccabile ahaha

I like how the reboot transformations really more like the cartoon where the head slides into the engine, or the feet slides into where the wheels will be. The Bayverse trilogy made it seem more complicated. Like machinery sliding into some random spot.

Legit, transformations in the bayverse looks like its running on 5 fps cuz its so complicated and messy
Transformers BB looks like they are transforming at 70+ fps cuz u can tell what part of what goes on the robot. Hell even the triple changer Dropkick and Shatter made sense
