Me perking up when someone said Louisville and said it correctly! Howdy neighbor! Thank you for your channel, it’s been an inspiration as I get started on my own lutherie journey!
oh thats so funny and true. I can't stand hearing it in airports! Hey if you ever want to come through Georgetown and talk shop it would be great to hang out! Just let me know
@@JDanielGraham That would be great! I’ll keep that in mind, when I can find the time! I would love to hear about the wood top banjos (I think!) I see the background of your vids sometimes, if you’re looking for another video idea. 😁
Loving the build. I'm sure I'm late in suggesting this but, you could do acorns or mushrooms growing out of the fret for the markers. And you could always save a little time and heartache by doing the strawberry dots with a little glue/sawdust mixture and apply with a needle or the like. And a 2 cent opine: maybe look at the white painted parts and change them to a brown or beige. The white is really overpowering the beauty of the ceramic pot. Anyway loving the uniqueness and imagination of your work. Look forward to seeing the final.
I totally understand! I actually like people sharing their thoughts on things. It is one of my favorite parts of the internet as long as it is done kindly. Yeah I really wanted to do acorns as fret markers but in the end since the frets were already in and cleaned up it was too much for this one inlay and clean up in between frets especially down the neck. There is always a next project where I can do something fun for markers! As for the white I really like the pop and how it matches the tuners. But that is just me maybe. @@MrMudslinger1998

@@JDanielGraham I dislike giving unsolicited advice/suggestions but I find it's a difficult area to navigate on the interwebs.

It's really cool the things you enjoy that would send me crazy (er).
Nice explanation of techniques.
Thats what makes life wonderful isn't it! Thanks.
How does the ornate carving on the back of the neck effect the playing?
It really doesnt effect it. Im not one that plays past the 17th fret or honestly past the 12th. But even then its feels smooth across the hand.
Thanks Daniel , nice stippling . What is the brand of laser that you use looks like it is a nice one from the detail quality?
Thanks i appreciate it! The laser is a Boss LS1630
I'll check it out thanks again@@JDanielGraham
Nice work!
Thanks Marcel!
