One thing i loved about this game is the introduction of showing the weapons coming out of the vehicles, it was so mind blowing the first time i saw it
The details that this has game are amazing, i actually felt very dissapointed when i played Head-on back then on the PS2, i liked it and enjoyed it but it didn't feel as submersive and detailed as Black was (that was before i knew the game was originally intended for the PSP ).

Mr. Grimm was my main character to be in this game. I got real good using him and throwing that sickle of his. My brother loved Sweet Tooth. Darkside for me was the toughest story to beat. That ram her semi truck did was hard to hit sometimes. Especially on the final boss.
@@IMzKDC23 go underneath warhawk when he gets to the center, make sure his front is aiming downwards where his spikes clip into the floor. once you do, fire the special. it chunks large amounts of health.
This was my favorite game at the age of 10, I was pretty bad, in fact I never won a single match, but I was still very interested about the characters and the dark mysterious tone and atmosphere. Good game.
I sucked ass when I was younger, my older bro had to put cheats for me, having the chance to replay it on the ps4 for a chance at redemption, *how could I refuse*

Made me wanna replay the games after only playing one of them on PS1 and, I gotta say, it made me fall in love for the genre. Been trying to beat Black with no deaths for a while now and it's pissing me off how bad I am at it. Still ain't giving up, tho lol

Mr. Grimm's Special is hard to hit but when it hits it does a lot of damage.
It's always been like that. You get good with it by training with Grimm on Twisted Metal 1 because you can't do input freeze. You learn very quickly how to do drive by's.
Same can be said for Axel too... Axel has always been about his personal freedom in previous games, but this one was an Axel that believed he didn't deserve an ounce of freedom.
Grimm’s been my favorite character of the Twisted Metal franchise and Black’s iteration is probably one of my favorites for being probably the most grounded and disturbing story among all the contestants. There’s just something haunting about turning the usual cartoony grim reaper character into a traumatized, cannibalistic Vietnam vet that slowly succumbs to the madness put upon him
When I was a kid this game was literally impossible for me! I was only 5 years old! But I had my brother put in the cheat codes for me so that I could play it without dying😂
This Mr Grimm is my favorite, I always choose him to play with...and i like him so deep...that i always learn how to throw his special "death scyhte" to the point accuracy hit almost 100% in medium to long range in every angle👹
Currently doing practice videos right now to get back good and honestly I remember when I first played this game and yes it was hard at first but I managed to get good after a while and going back to it as an adult I do not remember it being as hard as it is now even on medium mode you can get obliterated by the ai even when you have an advantage on them. Great video and good ending Warhawk almost had you there.

I loved this game so much. I found it on PS4 and got to relive the fun. I'll admit, I'm not the best at it, and I'd never win any match without the invincibility code (I don't keep it on all the time, just until I can get the health back up, then I turn it off again).
Supposedly in the beta cutscenes, the guy behind Mr. Grimm becoming a cannibal was a Soviet, something that tbh, I don't know why they took out, since it'd make a lot of sense. Guess they thought people would already know?

Mr. Grimm is an awesome badass character who likes to ride his cool looking motorcycle plus his special is so damn badass good. Seeing his story in this Twisted Metal game is quite dark and sad to see him lose his teammate Benny but Mr. Grimm has an interesting story and it is quite amazing.
twisted metal 3 and will always be my main favorites. the soundtracks in those games are perfect example when metal was at its prime along with other genres you don't what the f they but that shit sound hard. the next twisted metal if they bring a sequel to the 2011 game should bring in some Slipknot, Disturbed, old school Linkin park, old school system of down, Dmx, 2pac, Wu tang, old jeezy, Kevin gates, Ti's 24 track, c murder down for my niggas, etc.

Brandon Messing Only two TM games that don't let you carry weapons over to the next level are TM3 and TM4 since the weapon pick-ups have unlimited spawning while the TM1, 2, & Black they don't. Some weapons and health in TM Black don't respawn after a few pick-ups.

Yea TMPS3 had some fun moments but it had some issues with it too unfortunately. I'd love to have a PC version of Black. (I only have PC now). They have a PC version of TM2. It would be fun for that at least.

Twisted Metal is an annual tournament held on Christmas Eve in which over a dozen drivers battle to the death in order to receive a wish. The wish can be anything they desire. TM: Black is the darkest game in the series and not for the faint of heart.
Shadow wolf yeah. Most winners wishes will be twisted either cause of their fault or cause of Calypso’s own fun. It seems the only way to not make your wish twisted is to be specific. For example. Say you wanted a....dead family member to come back. Well if you say it just like that, calypso will do it but probably bring that passed away member as a zombified corpse. So you would have to say something like “I wish for my family member to be back healthy, and look like how she was before her death”
The driving is so erratic with some of the lightweight vehicles though. I could see it being a challenge under the right circumstances... I hate Grimms special in TMB because of the delay. You really have to time your shots in a way you didn't in other games.
You have the option to save in-between levels. The save file location is simply on the PS4 internal storage, rather than a PS2 memory card, of course. Lol.
@@TheFourthProdigy In the other games like Twisted Metal Head-On they'll actually attack each other (just a little), But in Twisted Metal: Black it's a 8 on 1 handicap match... I literally saw enemy cars just pass each other like just to cars on a normal day but when they see me they fire a missile, turn around then keep attacking you. And before you know it, another one joins the fray, AND GUESS WHAT that other car is attacking you too! Not the other one, JUST YOU!

I noticed you don't utilize freeze missles much. Is it because the shield use sucks up most of the special attack meter?
Yup. And AI in TMB path straight towards you when you have their attention. Real easy to line up shots.
