A Chat with Gary Nichols: A Star is Reborn

Grammy-Winner Gary Nichols (‪@gnicmuzik‬ ) shares his incredible story from the top of the music industry to the ditches of drug abuse in this audio interview on the Curious Goldfish Podcast in March 2024.
Gary replaced ‪@chrisstapleton‬ on The Steel Drivers in 2011 and subsequently helped the band win a ‪@GMMGrammy‬ award for best Bluegrass Album for The Musicle Shoals Recordings, produced in part by ‪@jasonisbellmusic‬
Gary talks about how easy it was to obtain the dope, and how a chance watching of "A Star is Born," while in jail led to his recovery once he got out. He's now part of the Ivy Manor Group in Muscle Shoals.
