Definitely true! Ive ran into this a couple times where my kill window gets hard countered by the enemy healer haha! I think thats something that people definitely have to feel out cause I didnt want to info overload any newer players that tuned in but I definitely agree with you :)

Yoo Vinidiction, I'm just going around saying this to all the wow pvp content creators. I think ya'll gotta do something to get people playing the game. Obv the big problem is the Q times. People don't want to play healer, of course there is the frustration of trying to find people to play with for rated 3's. The rating grind is frustrating etc... Of course most of this is stuff that needs to be changed by the devs and we can't help. But I stand by my initial statement that WoW PVP is suffering in a big way. People are not playing, it's on reddit, I have felt it while q'ing I beat and lose to the same people over and over again (and I'm only 1500 in 3's). Something has got to happen and I don't think the pvp dev team is being given the resources to make it happen be it manpower or dolla dolla bills. To give an example I'd refernce to the WC3 content creator/ pro Grubby. I've been watching him for the last 2 years and have seen him take baby step after baby step towards making wc3 a better game. It started with of course teaching viewers the game, but he found quite quickly that just because he put guides out and explained every tiny in-depth mechanic about the game did not mean his hard work would translate into a meaningful increase of players in the game. So he started taking other small steps, he started casting "bronze hero's" which is exactly how it sounds, a content format of him watching and commentating on low level players. This personally for me took away some of the anxiety of trying to play the game because I could see that there was indeed a place for me on the latter, however inglorious it may be. He also began branching out for to other games, probably for his own sanity but it also made him more relatable. (Of course this is incredibly difficult for a content creator to do and may not be for you). He became more relatable through this because he chose to play games that were somewhat outside of his wheel house and was able to create content for them under the guise of "See!? I'm a noob too, we all love good games". One of these games was mechabellum which was an auto battler akin to clash of clans, he was able to take the content format for this directly back over to WC3 in the form of Direct Strike which is a custom game mode. This SKYROCKETED the number of players participating in the w3c launcher (relative to where they were, the game is 30+ years old after all). One of the other ways he made the game more approachable for the average viewer was by conspiring with tyler1, diego and other LoL/Dota enjoyers Which he had background with I imagine from his stint in pushing high rank in dota 2. By hosting a noob tournament for them to play in and him to cast, and by having them attempt to team up against him in a 3v1 to see how many gamers it would take to beat a pro wc3 player. All of this together has served to increase wc3's playerbase, followed up by the battle chest release the game is in a much healthier state than when I originally followed it before and he did a great deal of this by himself. There are so many WoW PvP content creators still and I hope you guys read this and take it as a call to action to take the state of the game into your own hands, make it compelling, make it approachable, and get people invested in it again cus man... Fuck these q Times.
Epidemic - Not really, only if its literally the only thing I can press to maybe stop someone from drinking or going into stealth behind a pillar Ill press epidemic. Death Strike - Definitely pressing this about every 5-6 seconds if Im the one getting focused. It makes your healers life WAAAYY easier over the course of a long game and can make you feel unkillable. When the enemy pops cooldowns especially, you can try to just chains of ice, death strike and kite them out during CD's and then take your turn to pop CD's and go crazy. Virulent Plague/Outbreak - Not really that often, usually I try to let all of my dots get applied by my Dark transformation and Raise abom since they will do it pasively for me. But, if my dots are getting cleansed which happens a lot or my targets are spread out I do make sure Im re applying my dots to everyone as they fall off or get cleansed. Essentially, make sure everyone is dotted as much as possible but you want to press outbreak as little as possible to do that haha :D

Super glad I could help :D In regards to your question, I’ve actually been playing priest in 2’s recently some but I’ve only played Discipline which is pretty strong right now! I’ve heard that Holy priest is actually not all that bad in arenas at the moment but it’s a bit funky or different compared to the other healers. Long story short though, I think UhDk + Holy priest is probably strong but on the same token would probably be worse than like UhDk + Pres evoker or Disc priest. Hopefully all that made sense 😂
Pretty much UNLESS you are going to cap on runic power, aka youre at like 90+ runic power then you should send a death coil even if you dont have sudden doom just to make sure youre not overflowing runic power. Maybe the only exception to this is if youre really close to killing, I think scourge strike while in Defile will do more damage than a non sudden doom proc Coil, so if its like super tense maybe just spam scourge strike :)

Theres a catalyst near the blacksmith area where you transform a glad piece to tier set then when you hit 1600 you get a token to buy a piece from a vendor in azk khajet
@@jordanlake7146 as the other commenter said, you can buy one piece from the conquest vendor for like 875 conquest. It will just be a regular helmet when you buy it, BUT you can take it to the catalyst of creations (you can look up the location of it if needed), put it into the catalyst and that allows you to transform it into a pvp Tier piece. The 2nd piece comes from getting 1600 rating in any rated pvp bracket, OR next week you will be able to use the catalyst again if you are unable to get 1600 before then :)
I'm with you except for the normal rotation. You wanna save up 3 wounds for a death coil + doom + pvp doom talent pop. Also, you want to make sure to pop the horse guy's chains of ice with scourge strike for an extra 120k aoe damage. This is better than anything except a fully wounded + doom + deathcoil with two targets nearby. Third, if you have the entire team stacked, then you should be performing a death and decay + scourge strike spam rotation, until your 3 stack of wounds and doom is up for a massive death coil. You'll naturally be popping the chains of ice in the meantime. Burstier = harder to manage and heal.

its sad how bad the other hero talents are for unholy pvp.. i mean.. the life gain in pvp is nerfed from 2% to 1%. so you need 100x scourge strike to heal to full :D lols.. its so bad.. not to mention all the mortal wound effects... and damp in arena... and it is a 45 sec cooldown ability if you want to spam.. so you give up dmg and tankyness for what? less dmg and healing that dont work.. riders of the apocalypse is the only (choice) if we can call it that. my burst on rider of apo.... is 35 mil over 30 sec.. with the blood tree.. its only 23 mil over 30 sec.. on pvp dummy. and the rider summon 4x for the 20% dmg transfer.. huge tankyness. they need to buff the other hero talents... but that would be next year if i know blizzard right ;D
I completely hear you! Riders of the Apocalypse is also not the most engaging hero talents ever... it doesnt really change your playstyle in any way whatsoever it just adds additional minions onto the screen that do damage and give you a ton of free tankiness haha! However, I know some people love the "Minion army" playstyle so its probably great for them. But, even Ive stepped away from Uh DK a little bit, im a bit of an altaholic so its not suprising but ive been having a lot of fun with enh shaman recently lol
Man this game just became a cluster mess so many fing buttons to press , pvp and pve the only thing i enjoy from this game is the professions and good story but all the cluster mess of abilities just keeping me away from the true content from it,
Hey thats fair, even for myself I havent really stepped into the game since the Legion expansion if you can believe it and even for me there is just a lot going on in the game and it almost always feels like information overload. However, if you can pick a simple class that you enioy and just try to take things at your own pace I think you can have a lot of fun :)

No? Its legit just a regular conquest piece of gear basically but you get the extra set bonus which increases your minion damage for the 2 set bonus specifically. A lot of your burst damage specifically comes from minions so its super helpful
@@Fen3rbahce I think it’s 6% in PVP, but you are right it’s definitely nerfed from 8%. However, and maybe I need to double check but I think the top DK’s are definitely still choosing to get their set bonuses, as long as it’s the PVP tier set pieces. You definitely don’t want to use PVE tier set pieces in PVP.

You gotta get a purple piece of gear then visit the "catalyst" to convert it into a set piece

Hey thats fair, even for myself I havent really stepped into the game since the Legion expansion if you can believe it and even for me there is just a lot going on in the game and it almost always feels like information overload. However, if you can pick a simple class that you enioy and just try to take things at your own pace I think you can have a lot of fun :)

2 set? dude its dogshit.
No? Its legit just a regular conquest piece of gear basically but you get the extra set bonus which increases your minion damage for the 2 set bonus specifically. A lot of your burst damage specifically comes from minions so its super helpful

@@Fen3rbahce I think it’s 6% in PVP, but you are right it’s definitely nerfed from 8%. However, and maybe I need to double check but I think the top DK’s are definitely still choosing to get their set bonuses, as long as it’s the PVP tier set pieces. You definitely don’t want to use PVE tier set pieces in PVP.
