Swedish meatballs
You’ll need
300g Beef & pork mince each
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
Salt
Black pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
2 Onions
2 tbsp of flour
500ml beef stock
200ml double cream
1tbsp Dijon
Finely dice the 2 onions and caramelize them.
Into a bowl add the caramelized onion, all the mince, eggs, milk, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg
Mix and form balls and leave them in the fridge for 30mins
Sear the balls in butter till golden brown
Remove the balls and add the flour. Once it foams add the stock and let it simmer.
Add the Dijon,salt and black pepper.
Make the potatoes or what you’ll have with the meatballs then when it ready add the meatballs to the sauce and let them warm up for about 10mins and serve
