I did it! I made this adorable box with the hamster. Easier than I thought it would be with your good directions. I think there is an error in the tutorial instructions where making the tabs on the lid. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Linda, Thanks for pointing out that I had an error. I found it and corrected it on the project sheet. I think I wrote 2-3/8" and it should have been 4-3/8". I will send out a corrected version of that project sheet on Saturday. The corrected version is already on my project sheets page (for subscribers to my email list).
Love this hug box. I made one for my friend. I know she’s going to love it. ❤. Also, just wanted to let you know that I used the plastic that the stamps come on ( I saved them jic) lol. But, It worked. Thanks so much for sharing your talent. 😊
Do you know what mil the SU window sheets are? I have 2 different purchased window sheets, one 7 mil and the other 10 mil. The 7 mil didn't give me enough strength to pop the little hamster up and the 10 mil was too strong and I couldn't keep the top in the box closed. The top kept wanting to open even though I did the little trick with the tiny cuts on the flap. I ended up having to adhering an extra 1/2" x 2" flap atop the one on the box, adding a piece of DSP to it, and putting 2 circles of Velcro to close up the box on the outside of it.

Thank you, Linda! I'm so glad that through practice you're getting better at paper crafting. WooHoo!
Super cute project! Curious - what is in the bottom of the little jar holding your glue bottle?
Thank you! 🐹 The stuff at the bottom of the jar is just extra glue that has oozed out over time.
