Completely agree with half a size bigger. I usually wear 11.5 and had to get a 12. Thankfully I have a Boot Barn by me that I could go in and try them before buying them.

Many reviews of Keen boots point to poor quality and durability. This is so sad because these boots have a lot going for them but I bought another brand because I wasn't willing to trust them to last. Keen has been admonished by customers for not doing enough to make their boots durable but so far, no joy.
THey fail easily in less than 2 months. All google pics show the defect in manufacturing and fabric but not a single word of such an issue in this video.

It is a review of my experience with these boots, not yours. Nobody is stopping you from making your own review. You can't expect the world to be as you want it to be, otherwise you will keep getting disappointed.

I bought a pair from Keen this week for $165. I don't know anyone selling Targhee II boots for $100 that are new.
Do you prefer the Salomon X ultra 3 or these Targhee ll ?
Definitely Salomon X Ultra 3 by far! Although, if you like wider toe box, you might like Keen more.

If they failed in 2 months for you it does not mean they fail in 2 months for everyone. It depends on the use.
