- Triumph presents the new Speed Triple RR MY 2022 on the legendary Ascari Racetrack and on the surrounding roads of southern Spain. First impressions, technical data and details.
I don't care that I'm first - congratulations on the first English RR review published from Andalucia!
Thank you👍👍
Dang!!! 1000ps channel again with the earliest videos!! Bravooo!! I liked before even starting the video.
Thank you 👍👍
She does look beautiful! And, by the way, so does Ascari. What a gorgeous place!
you are right! great track
Excellent review 👍
Just to add a little context, the original Hayabusa produced 173hp and was heavier. This Triumph should be blindingly fast in capable hands.
The looks of this bike have grown on me. Hopefully I get to take one for a test ride.
She is a beauty. Fast, light, nimble. A Sorceress 🧙♀️.
Enjoyable review! This machine appeals a LOT.
thank you
Great tyres - OE the PIRELLI DIABLO SUPERCORSA SP V3 is mounted on the new 2022 Triumph SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR.
I made a mock endorsement to my existing motorcycle policy and it's only $528 with a multi cycle discount through progressive for me and I'm 31 y.o. and have $250,000/$500,000 limits.
How comfortable is it on 3 hours rides includung B roads and highways? Thanks ahead!
Great review!
thank you
Dream bike
Too expensive. $21k plus taxes and fees? You can get a new Tuono V4 1100 for almost $6k less than that...
Prices are much closer than that here on the UK (£2,500) and maybe the spec is on par with the Factory model which would actually make it a couple hundred cheaper. Bearing in mind that they probably are not directly competing. The Aprilia is a bit more lairy in appearance and behaviours. 40 year old me would lean towards this bike tbh. I could see it being a good companion on my Scotland trips.
Edit: new model Tuono is kinda fugly compared to the old one.
@@philclarke7712 Here, is is close to $24k out the door, and that's just a lot of money for a single bike... There are other comparable bikes to pick from... Tuono V4, Super Duke R, ZH2, etc...
I have the new Speed 1200RS and I don't lust after the Tuono anymore.
@@zxgeorger had many triumphs… Daytona, speed triples, etc…. Have a Bobber 1200 Black and 2021 Street Triple RS at the moment…. I love triumph, but I don’t love it $24k worth
@@SquireSCA you obviously haven't ridden the new Speed???
Sounds like big Arnie Schwarzenegger as the narrator....likely another austrian but i can dream.

Ah, if only I wasn't broke! This bike looks better all the time.
I don’t understand why if this model is purported to be a more street-oriented Speed Triple (as per Triumph’s own early launch presentation) they made the ergos so much more aggressive (higher pegs, lower bars) than the standard Speed Triple. I love the look of this bike, but that’s the wrong setup for country roads and in-town.
I believe it is street performance oriented. Of course the naked bike will have better ergonomics for comfort. But the street performance of the more aggressive ergos makes it a superior road bike.
@@jaredsmith4944 I’m not clear on what you mean by “street performance”, but comfort -relative or otherwise - is a key component of what makes a good road bike, hence the reason nakeds and adventure bikes (and cruisers) dominate the market these days, and sportbikes are a much diminished player than they used to be, save for the track. There’s a place for bikes with sporty ergos on the road, sure, but I was just surprised Triumph initially called this a more road-oriented version of the ST over the RS…I do note that they’ve since backed off that marketing angle, which was wise.
I dont think they're marketing it as a more street oriented speed triple, but aa more street oriented sportbike in general.
I rather hear the sound of the bike than the terrible “music”
You are talking about a fun to ride motorcycle, why are you so boring? I almost wall asleep at min 4
