“We are running the two samurai swords” is not something I expected to hear when I clicked on this video.
It was a late night conversation that got turned into reality. Then we decided that wasn't enough, which is how the starliner in the trunk came about.

If you have an engraver, have him do your windows, like a lowrider. Clean build. Good job!

Damn that is one hell of a VIP build. The attention to details is just top notch. Only thing I don't like is the carbon trim instead of the wood and the restitching of the leather on the door panels but everyone with their own taste.

Ls430 is my dream car but because I'm from Ireland I can get insured till I'm at least 25yo. Should I buy one anyway and just build it up over the years. I think I could get insured on a ls430 if its 20 years old or more due to classic insurance

@@x0jamiex0 It's impossible that you own one under the 25 yr law, they didn't come out until 2000. So maybe you mistaken with a LS400.

How is the ride quality? I wanna VIP mine eventually but it’s my daily driver rn and so smooth. Changed the rotors and didn’t even realize i was at 110 mph on the highway lol
It rides amazing. I love the air ride setup that I have on it. I will say this, though I do not drive it much now that it is nearly finished. I would be devastated if something happen to it, so most of the time it's on and off trailer driving. Thank you for watching the video
i have a 04 ls430 and am havjng the hardest time finding smoked headlights and taillights did you use a certain website/company?
Tha k you for watching the video. I actually had my painter just tint some clear coat and apply it that way. We did that for the headlamps and the fog lamps. I bought the smoked taillamps used, they are Valentin's.........

The passenger table and the 2 seat back tables came from vip asthetics usa. The rear center table came from bespoke vip in the uk.

@Water Sauce sorry. I read that wrong. The tablets I just ordered on line, Bestbuy, I believe and built the brackets to hold them. We have them set up to charge when plugged in (cable runs up the seam on the back side of the seat). You can watch individually or sync them together

How does the cold air intake work for this build? I was under the impression that because of the airflow system the LS has in the front that doing an aftermarket intake wouldn’t be worth it. Are you losing power on it at all what would you say worth it or not?
Thank you for watching the video. In full disclosure, this car gets driven on and off the trailer. In a real world, daily drive application, I do not feel it would have any real gain to the performance. It would most be drawing in hot air, from engine bay.

Removing the OEM air intake will increase the engine noise and really it does not increase the power. Lexus designed a very thought out quiet and efficient system. In my case I love the power of the engine without having to hear it similar to an electric car.

Cars just stopped developing after early 2000s. They just got kitcht and faster with smaller engines.

It came off an aristo. There was a guy selling it, so I wanted to see if it would work.

Its an art, that's for sure! More like I would to sell it, but I am super attached to it, so I would get sellers remorse. LOL

@@woe.num.1 will do. It does have the air ride. Some of the parts going on it will help it lay out better. I have always felt it was lacking in the laying frame department. It will probably be around Christmas time for the next video, so we can get all of what we are waiting for and get it all installed. Thanks again.
