I like that they are giving people a heads up right away with a quick fix prior to an inheritably longer process of getting the upgrade or fix if you will. besides..it's not like the fix is an un heard of tweak in a heli. There are many tweak and adjust tricks used all the time just for personal preferance. I don't even own a Goblin yet but it is my dream heli and someday I will own one..SAB good on you..thanks for building a dream heli.

Correction: $799 heli. And this hasn't been an issue in YEARS as it was immediately identified by Bert and the other tam pilots, and promptly addressed by SAB. This is EXACTLY the kind of service we expect out of a top-tier manufacturer. What you see in this video is simply an immediate fix which you could apply in the field, back in 2012 when the very first batches of Goblins were released.

Thank you for the notification Bert/Goblin. Although I would recommend using metal "shim" material in place of tape. Tape is quite ductile and it's thickness may reduce over time and exposure to repetitive compressive loading (nature of stresses encountered during flight). Cheers

If SAB and Bert were really "taking care of the customer", they would provide a free updated part to anyone who needs it, not just tell them about the problem. It's called warranty.

Rediculous a $2000 heli and they say fix it with a piece of tape! That's why i don't fly a goblin....looks aren't everything!

0.2 of a mm will giv u 10mm difference at the back?? i highly doubt that seeming as i work with glass, and the sheer size, upto 6metres tall, i know dam well for every 1mm out over a metre will be 1mm, s0 if my glass is 3mm out of level, and is 3metres tall, i know its roughly needs 1mm under the lower side, or take 1mm off the higher side.....

Who cares? Kudos are due only if they fix the issue by providing replacement parts. If Ford can stand behind a $25000 car, SAB should stand behind a $1000 heli.

How is that top notch customer service??? if it was top notch they would send us out the part that was machined right and not rig it with a piece of tape that over time will flatten out.
