Today was a good day for shopping! Got sugar 4 lbs for $1.69 limit 4, butter 2lbs for $4 limit 6, can corn and green beans 6 for $2.00 ! Limit 24, brown sugar and confectioners sugar 2 lb bags $1.49 limit 4 on each. 10 lbs taters for $3.69 and turkey 49¢ lb limit 30 lbs. Chocolate chips 12 oz $1.29. got all my limits of each plus 2 gallons of milk to freeze and only spent $46 and change. Had a couple coupons. Enough to make 4 food boxes for families to share! I'm so excited. Oh and Food Lion had Folgers coffee 9.6 oz for$3.49 each as long as you bought 3. Got 6 of those 4 for my boxes and 2 extra for a friend. It's a blessed day!
Glad you got some deals. I bought butter when food lion had it for $2.65. These price increases are crazy. But there are some sales this week so that's good.
Great haul, Linda...I love the clock! Great tip on the propane adapter, very hand gadget to have! Our store has the kielbasas for $6.99, I couldn't even believe it, we were getting them 2 for $5 last year. I love beef rice a roni, soooo good with ground beef and veggies added to it, yum! That paprika has doubled in price, wow. Thank you, Linda. Have a fantastic night! Stay safe and well❤🤗🙌
Adding my comment a bit late (I watched your video but didn’t comment) I love this haul Linda!!! You are really working double-time to fill your shelves. Good job! Thanks for sharing all your finds and ideas for how to use them.
Agreed - no handicap parking left at Sam's Club today. But, found a spot next to cart return so that I could grab a cart and use it to go into the store. Don't think I'll do that again - too far. Doggone, thanks for the reminder, the wind up alarm clock I had in the barracks back in the 70's is somewhere out in the garage - will have to find it - Helen won't let me use it because she says it ticks way too loud.
Thank you for your video. What a haul! I'm still broke so I'm working all the free food I have. There's Pie Pumpkins, the last of the late Beets being dehydrated, Turnips, and I'm finished with the second $5, fifty lb bag of deer carrots and thinking of getting another. (I do have $10 mad money I've hung on to for the last six weeks!) Finished the last of my gleaned potatoes and now I want more. Canned up a storm of potatoes and now I want to fill the dehydrator a few times as well. My four years of collecting used mason jars is still paying off big time, ... I'd have at least 15 dozen pints left to fill, AND! I've already used a case of 24 dozen lids canning this season. I've started putting my jams in pints rather than use the extra lids jamming the half pints. I have a whack of jam to make too. There's twenty lbs of blueberries from last fall that have to be turned into jams. Then there all kinds of frozen tame strawberries and Rhubarb and the best jam I made this season was the Strawberry/Rhubarb jam I made. December is my last month being super broke then I'm hitting our Grain Elevator for bulk whole Grains starting with whole Soybeans, The poor mans protein eh? Then whole Oats, whole Corn, and finish with the whole Wheat because I have about 1500 lbs of whole wheat already. Good luck.
Wow! You have been busy. I have put up adds on Facebook market place for used canning jars, but people want a arm and a leg for them. I think it’s a good idea to use the pint jars too for jam if you use a lot of it. I could one wish for that much wheat. 💕🌺
As I sit here watching your video I am looking at my very old Big Ben windup alarm clock that still works just fine. This old clock will probably outlive me and if not that's not a problem because I have several around the house. Just to be on the safe side you should probably look into how to refill those 1lb propane tanks. To fill properly you need to invert the larger tanks first. This may require you to get a extension hose. Remember safety first.
Golden Harvest jars are made by Ball. Use them all the time. The lids seem a little thinner(don't know if it is just me), so i switch them to Ball for meat and use the golden harvest for fruits and veges.
I was at WM today and picking up some crema when a nice woman asked me if I minded telling her what I am going to do with it. I told her that I follow you on TH-cam and am hoping to learn how to make sour cream with it and that it has a lot of uses. She wrote down your channel, seemed very interested. I love passing on useful information to those that want it 💕
I did went to the grocery store tops market today and there's is some gaps shelf in the grocery store like some new brand bread are getting low and some water starts to get low and the frozen like okay and few gaps of snacks and keep stock up while you can before it's too late and stock up pet's foods and litter if you have pet's and the prices is going up y'all some foods and others supplies in New York state and be ready and be blessed and save wisely and spend wisely and God is always with us 😊🙏🏽❤👑👍😊🙏🏽❤👑👍
Thank Shaniqua for telling us about your store. We need to keep on prepping to Zach we’ve been doing. If we have reached our goal then we should continue to keep it fully stocked. That is my thought anyway😊💕
We are still canning as we can get things to can. We did 7 quarts of blackeyed peas, and will can 20lbs potatoes tomorrow. We opened a jar of brauts for supper tonight, and they were so good. Better than grilling in my opinion.😋
I'm so behind on groc run. That'll be next week. Tryed getting home stuff prepped and dug into our pantry. But one hand gives other takes lol. Am learning we (hubby and I) don't need what we thought on food preps. I'm getting good at recreating our favorite foods.
what a great haul!!!!! I did an entire Thanksgiving meal, including the turkey, from my fridge and pantry. It is amazing what you can do when you shop from your pantry :)
@@Loristhriftykitchenpantyr I pressure planned to hold turkeys over the last few months or so but I have not yet tried it I’m glad to hear that it is delicious. You have a wonderful channel with lots of good recipes thank you Lori💕
Great haul Linda! I spent $40 on food today. Got some crackers, a roast beef to can, bacon going to can, a really good meat rub spice jar, another pound of butter (gotta make more ghee), a big bin of baby spinich (on the dehydrator now), and yesterday I got 2 more 10pks of maple n brown sugar instant oatmeal 2/$5, 10lb sugar 4.99, 10lb flour 4.99, 4 beef broth and 4 chicken broth 59 cents a can, some jello, a box of saltines, and a bunch of other stuff spent $80. I did my monthly Amazon and Walmart online orders, and I think I will video that when it comes in.
I took advantage of the "rollback" prices at WalMart and picked up some extra canned and boxed goods for my pantry, a small turkey, a small ham, and some brown gravy packets. Tomorrow, I am going to our local food giant to pick up fresh cabbage and pineapple on sale and to spend my loyalty points to purchase more peanut butter to put in my pantry.
After I went to the store yesterday and talk to my sister on the phone she asked me Linda did you get the peanut butter? I told her I need a peanut butter that’s why she asked. And guess what no peanut butter😆
Being my Walmart doesn't have all my stock up there on line does it has everything. Haven't been into our Walmart for about a month now. I was sick and my husband went in and did shopping and told me things looked different. I am going in tomorrow with my husband to see the difference. He did tell me they had put in a ton of self-checkouts now so I'm sure that they have let people go. I will be able to tell that when I'm in there tomorrow.

Hey Linda I did a big haul today aldis and a local grocery. Canned goods. Laundry soap.. cat food..paper towels for emergencies and pet care. I got our Christmas advent calanders early bx usually I can't find.. at aldis.. I got baking stuff..canned goods canned meats.. butter was cheaper at aldis with limits.. loaded up the mini van lol
Great haul! Speaking of inspiring people, I would never have known about the crema media if not for you! So, thank you for that. I like to add it to my casseroles and soups along with the "cream of" soups. Makes them so creamy and good! I have not had to use it as sour cream, but like knowing that it is available ... and cheaper than the powder. I found some smoked sausage (14 oz.) on sale for $3.99 (that used to be the regular price). I got it to make red beans and rice since it's getting cool enough for "hot" food and some sheet pan meals. NO broth at WM. I went twice this week and will check back tomorrow when I am out. My WM and Ace hardware have plenty of regular mouth jars, but no wide mouth. I like to use them for my meats and the regular mouth for things like chili and soup as well as storage of dry goods. Looking forward to the meatball video.
I have been pondering the sour cream powder could you please tell me what your thoughts are on the powder since you have used it and if you do like it can you tell me the brand. I will continue prepping my media crema but I thought I would like to have some of the powder as well as it probably is easier to store. I would appreciate any information you might can give me on the powdered sour cream
We just bought one of the adapter too for the propane! We did get some of the heat jels from sams club to heat or stay warm with. Do you think Walmart is lowing the price on some of that stuff just because or the thanksgiving/Christmas holiday Lord knows they have been raising the prices I seen today the canned vegi's on sale and was thinking of grabbing more! I might have to do a small pick up order after leaving my sis's house tomorrow. Have you used those broths in the jugs instead of the containers you showed as I have a lot in there is the shelf life good? 1.00 is a great price! Thanks for the haul and no I am not happy with the election results specially here in MI!!! I wont say what I want to say about it all!
@Linda's Prepper Kitchen Have you tried waxing cheese. I ordered some wax off Amazon and hope to do that soon. Love cheese but not lactose. Cabot block cheese at Walmart is lactose free. Curious about how long it will last. But I do have plenty of the cheese sauces like you have because I have got to be sure the grandbaby can have her Mac and cheese!
I watched a Orlando Preppers video on waxing cheese and she made it look so easy. But when I googled how long it was good for it told me that if you had a uncut whole piece of cheese it could last out for 25 years but I was so I’m assuming the brutal blocks that we get from Walmart are already cut and those last from 1 to 3 months. I want to do some more research on that because it looks like a easy fabulous way to store cheese

@@lindasprepperkitchen Sorry, I have not used it. One of the drawbacks to using it would be the shortened shelf life once it is opened.
We are a cheese family I guess we go though 5 lbs a cheese a week. Our 60 count eggs are down this week.
We miss you so much
Hello, I'm new here, I'm wondering the reason for a wind up clock? Is it in case the power goes out?
Hi Linda, could you possibly link the adapter? Thanks!

@@lindasprepperkitchen I ordered the wax right after I watched that!
girl you kicking butt great big nice haul
Thank you
