Selena’s music, especially her latest album Rare, is all about self love, mental health and embracing confidence... I’m pretty sure you’d love her songs, like I said especially her album Rare (Actually her album Revival as well)! All love
I’m also an advocate for mental health. People think I’m crazy that I run a cafe with social mission which is to provide a platform for society where they can talk about well-being without any judgements. All the struggles are so different. I’m so glad to find you here. My emotional support animal my cat 🐈.
I loved ur reaction😍 idk if u know this but Selena is ALWAYS talking about mental health and raising awareness about it and her make up line “Rare Beauty” is aiming to raise 100m in the 10 years to donate to mental health services❤️❤️❤️
I knew she advocates for mental health. Maybe she will be one of my 2021 interviews! I will check out her makeup line. I hope it is cruelty free! I need a new lipgloss!
I loved your reaction, I wish you all the best in your life You are a warrior, the beauty line of Selena Gomez It was made to support mental health and this is very important, it is the disease of the century and needs all the support to break the stigmas of this problem and help more and more people ♥ ️ ♥ ️
This is the first I heard this song as well! Wow, how Julia Michaels writes music, and especially when she collaborates and cowrites with Selena Gomez; I feel like they open up my skull and extract every thought I had. How relatable! Having Bipolar for the last ten years, I feel like anxiety and depression are always there with me to some degree. I just wish I could articulate my feelings as well as this song all the time. The wonderful thing about music, is I can just show someone a song to explain how I feel! I remember when “Dancing with the Devil” by Demi Lovato first came out, and I was like ecstatic, showing everybody this is exactly what mental illness and substance abuse struggle was like for me!
Every single person I've known has said I'm either a problem, or "too much". A few people in high school just meant they couldn't really handle being around me much, which was fair- I was pretty damn hard to handle in high school. I had this strange brand of broody agressive positivity for my group. I was also loud and definitely an asshole- the latter of the two being deliberate.
I've been told that by the majority of people I've met as well. Screw them. Find your tribe of people who understand (like us) and know that we see your worth and we love you. You're not too much because you're just like us! When someone says something like that, it just means that they were never taught how to handle certain things either.
Teenage me suffering from severe depression and (I know now) social anxiety to the point of physical illness.... Therapist: "Have you had any pets die recently? Oh. 2 rats? Write letters to them telling them how much you miss them." What the actual...? Yes. That helped immensely. Thanks.
