The SMP Overload is real! Even I joined an SMP. We're definitely not doing the same things. One has a balanced episode format with some of everything, one has no voice over and is build focused. Me, I'm being weird and making a TV series with a bunch of it behind the scenes.
Videos 🔥🔥. The only unique smps showing up are Outcasts, Empires and any smp fwhip makes. It's crazy how much Influence one sever can have on the entirety of minecraft TH-cam. (Smp overload)
I moved to smp content when my channel was young and it took that momentum. I have debated hard leaving smps but for now I am content. But I do need to get back to single and a few tutorials because I hide a lot of my ideas behind lets play content.
6:46 you say, that SMP content isn’t good for growing channels… But it literally helped me grow out of my 100 subscriber shell Now… I know this isn’t true for everybody, but it really helped me get a foot in the door And get to know a lot more people

For me SMP content is King! If there were no SMP servers then I believe Minecraft would suffer. No such thing as over-saturation, when it comes to SMP. An SMP is the life-blood of minecraft especially when the content creators are all mature, friendly and free from drama & destructive behaviour, in my humble opinion. If anything is over-saturated then it is Tutorials (most are the same) and those "I survived 100 days..." "I survived some blah blah..." - Even though I totally disagree with your viewpoint I really enjoyed your video and your take on the subject. 😁😉
Never said I didn't like SMP content! I said that too many people are starting SMPs just because they think they _need_ to or because they think it'll grow their channel. Which is what leads to the over saturation of these SMPs that seem to have no life or passion in them. I agree with you on Tutorials, amazing point that I wish I had mentioned lol. Tutorials are soooo over saturated, to the point where there's several people making the same Tutorial every day. I also agree on the 100 days stuff. And that's why, when I hit 1000 days in my survival world, I titled it as a landmark video instead of a "I survived.." video, because those videos are sooo common and I just don't wanna become that type of creator. SMP content is great for connections, but not very great for growing an entire channel.
