Just got a decant of Suede Et Safran that despite loving the house I was not very excited about but a full bottle is on the way. Just incredible stuff. Love your work, keep rising.
Hi Sandra, big fan here! Would it be possible for you to do a tutorial on the makeup products that you use on a daily basis. I think your make up looks amazing - natural, luminous, elegant & never overdone. Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words! ❤️🙏 My makeup is very simple for two reasons; 1. I want to keep it real. If someone sees me somewhere I want them to be able to recognize me. I don’t want anyone to think “Oh, is that how she really looks?! 😳” 2. I look really weird with much makeup on 😆 And the same goes for filters, they make me look horrible 🫣 The filters make others look stunning but they make me look like a clown 😂 I only use CC cream, powder, bronzer, brow pencil, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. I’m to lazy to learn the contouring thing and I want to apply my makeup fast 😅
Thank you for the prompt reply. Much appreciated! If not too much of an inconvenience, would it be possible to share the brands of the cc cream, powder & lip stick that you use? My wife looks a lot like you & would love for her to emulate your look. Thank you!
@@victory98765 of course 😊 the CC creme is Lumene, the powder and the lipstick is Isadora, they have this refillable line with different colours and I like to mix, so all products fairly cheap but good brands 😊
I’m 72 years old and the two distinct scents that I wear almost exclusively are: 1) Eau Sauvage (cologne & after shave) by Christian Dior, which I have worn since I was 20 years old and still love the citrusy notes 2) Grey Vetiver (Eau de Perfume) by Tom Ford, which I was introduced to about 5 years ago and the scent is amazing. But I do recommend to everyone that, prior to buying a new scent, try a small sample of it on your skin - don’t rub it into your skin, just let it dry and wait about 10 minutes and then smell it to see if you like the scent and the notes. Many of the sense contain ingredients that will not necessarily go with every skin type.
Great list off course i think from a female point- But as a men :My favourits for a plus 50 year men are- Grey vetiver TOM FORD- Sartorial penhaligons- Acqua Di parma essenza- Chanel Pour monsieur- Eau sauvage- Cacharel pour homme- Caron le trosieme- Loewe 7-Houbigant fougere royal and Ganimede Marc Antoine Barrrios. Lovely video as always, dear Sandra. You killed it & did so looking as beautiful as ever. I believe maturity isn't so much an age thing, though it can often be tied together with it. I feel it's an attitude, a confidence that isn't looking for the approval/compliments of others that comes from being comfortable in your own skin. Younger men & women can definitely attain that, but I find there's usually such a heavy desire for younger people to fit in that the confidence of being who you truly are doesn't get reached until later (and that's fine, if you ask me). A couple that I would add to your great list would be Vintage by John Varvatos, Tom Ford's Beau De Jour & Amouage's Reflection Man. But that could just be my personal tastes kicking in lol. Be well & thank you as always ❤️🙏
Great video and very helpful video. Thank you Sandra . As someone who is about to turn 53, I agree that I personally don’t enjoy or wear sweeter scents ( especially when it’s more of a caramel, toffee, or cotton candy type sweetness). And I love Dior Homme 2020 and Dior Homme Intense. God bless.
I'm 53 and some of my favourites are Dior Homme, Coms de Garcon Copper, Valentino Uomo Intense, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Prive, Boise & Gentleman Only, YSL M7, Aramis, Cartier Declaration, Mugler Pure Havane, YSL Tuxedo, Carolina Herrera Mystery Tobacco, Penhaligons the Tragedy of Lord George, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Parfum and Vetiver
Really interesting list Sandra. Being 40 i think i qualify as mature. Some personal favourites for mature guys Prada Amber intense, TF tuscan leather and Houbigant duc de vervins.
@SandraSolomonFragrance it comes in edt and edp, the edp being the "l'extreme" its a very aromatic fougere. Starts with bright citrus and dries down to an oakmoss bomb. Big projector too. It is similar to drakkar noir but much higher quality.
I literally just wrote a comment about this on fragantica: "I dont agree with categorizing smelling good by age groups. If you like it, wear it" So many arbitrary rules within the fragcom.
@@Oshianis Couldn’t agree more. I’m a “mature” man and love Paco Rabanne and Stronger with You fragrances to give you some examples. Love sweet, gourmand fragrances that project happiness, good vibes….but also like my aromatic, woody, and fougere perfumes.

It's not that simple, my friend. While I do agree that each one should wear whatever they like, on the other hand, there's also some truth in that most mature guys (let's say 35+) feel no longer comfortable wearing stuff made for youngsters, like "Abercrombie & Fitch", Eros edt, or extremely sweet / bubble gummy ones such as 1 million elixir, Invictus line, etc. As a mature guy myself (over 35 here), I dig the less sweeter "1 million royal", Le male le parfum, etc. But would never wear things such as Scandal edt, Le Beau , 1 million elixir, SWY, Most wanted, Invictus line in general... they are way too juvenile/unisex for my taste!
Mature isn't an age thing, imo. It's an attitude that I find tends to go along with an older crowd, ones who are confident in who they are, a confidence that doesn't care about appealing to the masses.
Nice video, even before I was into fragrances and in my late teens and early twenties I’ve always leaned more towards mature or fresh scents and not really a fan of anything too sweet ,I have a few of these and I am looking forward to trying out sandalo someday
Nice presentation. Some of these I have not tried. Some that you mentioned I was not crazy about at first....but they have grown on me. Much appreciated. You're right, it's about confidence and knowing your identity. I keep that in mind whether I'm wearing 100% masculine, or animalic, or floral. You gotta wear the frag...never let it wear you.

Old guy here. I love the small handful of your recommendations that I've gotten to wear, at least. Layton Exclusif, Oud for Greatness, AdP Sandalo; I assume I'd really like the Dior, having tried and really liked others in the L'Homme Ideal line. I wish I had an opinion on Shuhrah so I could participate in the joking around about it.... I'm interested in pretty much everything you list, here, that I haven't tried, too!
Aqua di Parma has really great fragrances in its portfolio. An insider tip for “mature men” is Baldessarini. The Eau de Cologne in particular, but also the Signature, Black or Ambre are a treat. There’s no need to even talk about Montblanc. Simply great.
Hi Sandra very interesting choices & some good fragrances. I would like to add Amouage Journey Man, Xerjoff Zefiro, Chanel Egoiste, Costume national homme parfum, Tom Ford Noir & Guerlain L'instant
My guess is that age factor can reasonably be a wise categorization when dealing with wide trends or great numbers eather when we're talking of goods and consumers as well. Categorization does not mean discrimination but let's say it's a guideline to be taken into account. I'd like to add that the occasion should be also given great attention.Let's put it this way : an over 60 gentleman could be so daring and wear Joop for clubbing or a night out with friends but it would be out of place wearing it for leisure time strolling across downtown for afternoon shopping while such a scent could be well fitting a 20 y.o. guy on the same occasion.
I wanna try Shuhrah ) I have a ADG Profumo, and it's a great scent, but I am also not a fan of ADG line. When my 40 ml Profumo will over, I'll go for ADG Pafrum.
I like Guerlain Heritage and Habit Rouge, Fougere Royale by Houbigant, Gentleman Givenchy Original, L’homme Ideal, Encre Noir L’Extreme by Lalique, Pour un Homme de Caron, and don’t hate on me, Old Spice🤓! L’homme by YSL is a keeper for me, too. And Creed Viking! I’m 66 so my list might seem dated to some but that’s my list and I’m sticking to it!😂
Gorgeous sandra is here 😍 ❤️ What do you think amouage royal tobacco is it safe blind buy And what is your first impression about stronger with you tobacco Finally, i love you so much, and i wait for your videos every day ❤❤❤❤
Thank so much! I wish I had tried both of the mentioned fragrances but unfortunately i haven’t, but I’m absolutely sure that SWY Tobacco is crazy good!!
The term is a bit of a misnomer, because as a mature man, I tend to dislike the majority of what some label as "mature fragrances". They're either too heavy, too sweet, or just have notes that I don't tend to go for, sadly.
Informative video. I’m 55 and an international man of mystery. When I’m not wearing Natural Bull, I am wearing Rugby by J. Press. See, I’m a C-Suite Executive and don’t want to smell like a fruit salad at work. When I’m out with my lady, I’ll wear Flower Bomb 💣 . When I’m feeling more predator like, I’ll wear a little Savage or Versace. I’ll be checking out your recommendations. Semper Smell Good, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps (Retired)
Hasn't the PDM brand been bought out? I bought my 2nd bottle of Layton for $90 recently, it was NOTHING like the first bottle. It was after the 2nd purchase I found out why Layton had become so cheap. I wouldn't buy PDM if it was $50/120ml . You should mention this in your presentation.
I would say anything with heavy spice is also very mature. I remember being a kid thinking why would anyone wear old spice deodorant? Who the hell wants to smell like spices? Now I am a bit older and can definitely see why. There are so many really nice spicy fragrances, but they are only really appreciated once you are a little older
According to my age (becoming 51) I'm mature, but at the same time the emotional maturity of a blueberry scone. A bit confusing when it comes to choosing the right fragrances... 🤔😉
As a man i would say anything cloyingly sweet is not a good style even if its popular for clubs. As a mature bloke i agree that warm, spicy and leathery sums a grown up
Hmm…I think you miss mentioning a lot of interesting niche fragrances on your list. Brands like Creed, Xerjoff, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Profumum Roma, Clive Christian are left out? I have worn Xerjoff Uden, Creed Aventus and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir with great success on dates. They are classy gentlemen’s fragrances, sophisticated and sexy. There are also sexy fragrances from Bois 1920, Fragrance du Bois, Orto Parisi, Diptyque and Roja.
Sandra, I know that placing age range on fragrances is a contentious topic 😅. But I do feel like you could focus more on the mature audience for your channel (not necessarily 50+, but maybe 30, 35+). If you think about it, most girls / women doing frag reviews here on YT already focus on the "Gen Z" audience. I believe you would stand out more from the crowd. That doesn't mean you should stop being yourself, though. If you like the very sweat stuff, keep on recommending them (just add as a reminder that such frag is more on the youthful side; or instead of suggesting - let's say - Eros Edt, go for the EDP or Parfum version). 😉
On the topic 'fragrance doesn't have an age'. Which popular men's fragrances could still be a stretch to pull of for let's say a Brad Pitt at ages 40, 50, 60?
@@SandraSolomonFragrance Maybe a question for a girl's nite. But dang, that Swiss Arabian bottle looks like a tacky Vegas fantasy hotel scheduled for demolition
For sure...! Your body PH and your audience is key. If you smell the slightest difference on skin than tester, send it! If single, on a date with someone who has a son 25-35 into fragrance, you may end up smelling like him, and that cld be weird.
Well, as they say, to each their own! But I bet the majority of men in his 60s wouldn't feel "comfortable" wearing Eros edt. However the more toned down Parfum or even Edp version could be a better fit.
Another recommendation, hear me out. I found a "hack" for me and so far it works With the nose/patience for wearing 2 scents simultaneously. Excited about that 1. There is so many: Northern Brights (BL, BW, Body Scrub) Endless Sea (BL, BW, M) Into the night (BL, M) 😍😍😍 Pink Pineapple Sunrise (BL, BW, M) (CDNI, Hacivat, Trajan, so CBDC, Anfas Rahaba, Kajal Lamar) and or their Pineapple Mango (Cruz del Sur II) VS has some good ones as well, Bare Vanilla, Wild Fig & Manuka Honey (Gris Charnel) It's a lot of maybe useless info, but I felt like sharing....

I wanna try Shuhrah )
I have a ADG Profumo, and it's a great scent, but I am also not a fan of ADG line. When my 40 ml Profumo will over, I'll go for ADG Pafrum.
great work 🎉😊
I like Guerlain Heritage and Habit Rouge, Fougere Royale by Houbigant, Gentleman Givenchy Original, L’homme Ideal, Encre Noir L’Extreme by Lalique, Pour un Homme de Caron, and don’t hate on me, Old Spice🤓! L’homme by YSL is a keeper for me, too. And Creed Viking! I’m 66 so my list might seem dated to some but that’s my list and I’m sticking to it!😂
I’m 60 and my favorites are O/Parisi Bergamask and Nasomatto Duro
Rasasi Shurah...ADG Parfum
So beautiful!!!
Regardless of the incredible review, you're getting even more gorgeous as time passes 😊
Hm...could it be the 2 good arguments in front of you? ;)
Sandra what do you think about Gucci Rush for men
Gorgeous sandra is here 😍 ❤️
What do you think amouage royal tobacco is it safe blind buy
And what is your first impression about stronger with you tobacco
Finally, i love you so much, and i wait for your videos every day ❤❤❤❤
Thank so much! I wish I had tried both of the mentioned fragrances but unfortunately i haven’t, but I’m absolutely sure that SWY Tobacco is crazy good!!
@SandraSolomonFragrance thanks for your honesty
But please, if u get SWY tobacco, make a video about it
Ever smelled Sultan by Royal Crown? That is one this 57 year old gentleman loves to wear
Never tried it, How does it smell? 😊
i´m 46 going 47 this month i dont wear fragrances too please i wear it if i like it sweet , fresh , woody whatever kind regards Peter
”I don’t want to smell like fruit salad at work” 😂😂😂 You had me laughing out loud!
I will keep my bottle of Dior Homme 2020 to wear it when I’m 64 🙃
What is your best top pick for Christian dior private line for women?
I am in love with Rouge Trafalgar and Ambre Nuit. On their own or layered 👌
@@SandraSolomonFragrance thank you!!
U was missed as usual ❤❤❤
I like your topics it is really unique
Love you Sandra ❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for your amazing support!
Ready for the granny's with this list.
😂🙌
White Suede is incredible but it really does not last long. After 3 hours ... gone.
Doesn't get much mature than Aramis 😆. Great rubbing alcohol scent lol.
On the topic 'fragrance doesn't have an age'. Which popular men's fragrances could still be a stretch to pull of for let's say a Brad Pitt at ages 40, 50, 60?
That is such an interesting question! And hard to answer, but a huge turnoff would be if he wore Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud, at any age actually… 😂😂
@@SandraSolomonFragrance Maybe a question for a girl's nite. But dang, that Swiss Arabian bottle looks like a tacky Vegas fantasy hotel scheduled for demolition
@@thomaslofqvist1464 definitely! And yes, it sure does! 🤣🤣
@@SandraSolomonFragrance Wish you girls fun getting to work on this topic! The old boy Brads need to know how many sprays of Eros is just right
So if, as u said, fragrance has no age limit, would you recommend to a 60 year-old man to wear Versace Eros?!
If they like it
For sure...!
