Welcome to another extreme adventure.
Today we are at Pasighat, the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh.
Loads of things to explore here, its a little long list, but I will start with the most important once. If you are up for an adrenaline pumping adventure, try crossing the Pongging hanging bridge of Pasighat at one go or you can also try river rafting in the Siang river, depending on the weather conditions.
If you are willing to go a little overboard, you can enjoy the celestial view of two rivers Siang and Siom merging at one point. This celestial view is at Pangin, which is 60 KMs away from Pasighat town. If you are a wildlife and bird lover check out the Daying Ering Wildlife sanctuary, that includes a few endangered species as well. The list can go on forever, so make sure you visit this breathtaking place, if you are around. Ask a few local people for help, if your Google map isn't working due to network issues. People of Arunachal are really humble.

How's the place, pasighat? Planning to go
Thank you so much for the beautiful landscapes of Pasighat with details of the places. My father was a civil doctor during 1948 to 1960 in Pasighat, Aalo and Pangin. Arunchal Pradesh was known as NEFA (North East Frontier Agency) at that time. My parents told me that it was very difficult to travel to NEFA from Assam during that period and it took around 2/3 days to reach Pasighat etc. Some times they travelled by small Dakota planes or Army helicopter depending on good weather.
Wow! I would love to read his diary of that time. I m from Pasighat.

पासी घाट उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी जिले में गंगा नदी के किनारे स्थित एक घाट है। यह घाट वाराणसी के पांच प्रमुख घाटों में से एक है और हिंदू धर्म में इसका बहुत महत्व है।
पासी घाट का नाम पासी समुदाय से लिया गया है, जो एक पारंपरिक रूप से मांसाहारी और शिकारी समुदाय है। घाट के निकट एक पासी देवी मंदिर भी है, जो इस क्षेत्र की एक प्रमुख पूजा स्थल है।

Roing gate, I went there a month back, didn't need a covid test but rules change from time to time, you will have to cross check the current status
