I love to layer perfumes...my favorite right now is (and I know it sounds crazy, but the combo is amazing and I get soooooo many compliments) Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and Sol Janeiro Bum Bum cream and body spray.
Demi, you were right! Granada, with Safanad layered on top, make an amazing pair! I imagine being enveloped in this beautiful combination while enjoying an intimate rooftop dinner on a warm-but-breezy night. I'm going to make it happen as soon as the weather warms up a bit. Thanks for the idea!
I have found that tobacco vanilla and vanilla fatale actually go really beautiful together… I wore them together last night and got a lot of compliments!😍
So, I have mugler’s angel muse, I just adore this perfume and after seeing this video i layered angel muse with just a simple vanilla body cream. I think it works pretty good🥰 thank you, Demi❤️
I like leyring too. But with a different “method” I usually use contrast combination. For example if I have a very soapy floral ( Anis Anis by cacharelle) I’d mix it with a gourmande to cut the sharpness ( warm vanilla sugar from bath and body works) and the outcome will be amazing. I need to try it your way too.
Demi, I receieved ylang in gold the other day because of your review and omg I swear we are soulmates lol Not only are you my cancer sister but Delina is my holy grail and now this one has to be my second fav that Ive bought because of you! The way you describe fragrances is so spot on and your taste is 👌🏼! thank you so much! love you!! 💕💕💕
Hey dear Demi😊I would love for you to make a vid like Niche and their designer dupes, so no cheapies but Niche with their designer twin💋Have an amazing week, sweetheart!🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️
Hey Demi. I like the idea of layering for a new fragrance experience. Micallef Ylang and Amouage Sunshine were my first two niche fragrance purchases. I have never thought to wear them together. I will do that this week for sure! It would be great to hear a story about how you have made a fragrance that you don't like alone more enjoyable through layering. It sounds like you just talked about layering ones you already love individually.
Dear Demi, my favorite combination is Mon Guerlain with D&G L'Imperatrice. This is a BOMB for spring/summer. Also like Chanel Chance EDP with Gucci Bloom, it's so feminine.
Another thing you can do with layering is using a darker heavier fragrance as the base and brighten it up with a lighter fresher fragrance, sometimes people struggle with heavy dark and complex fragrances especially ones that are not sweet, so to teach/evolve your nose and sense of smell first spray the dark heavy bitter niche fragrance at the base and use a fresher lighter sweeter fragrance on top of that.... one of my first combinations was encre noire extreme then I layered it with light and fresh and sweeter eau de gaga edp. ABSOLUTELY heavenly! now I can appreciate bitter vetiver fragrances when I struggled with them.
Some of my favorite combos: Chanel Chance EDP + CD Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet or Mugler Alien or Versace Bright Crystal or Versace Versense CD Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet + YSL Mon Paris V&R Flowerbomb + Bonbon Mugler Alien + YSL Black Opium JHaG Not A Perfume or EM Molecule 02 + YSL Mon Paris or Paco Rabane Olympea or D&G Light Blue or Armani Sì Givenchy Dahlia Divin + Clean Skin Clean Reserve Citron Fig + Clean Reserve Amber Saffron + Clean Skin
Demi, for the autumn-to-spring transition, I've been wearing *Memo Granada* + *Van Cleef and Arpel Orchidee Vanille* . It's a scrumptious combination. When I layer these two, I feel I'm surrounded by a floral, cozy, creamy, super-feminine cloud. I discovered both fragrances through you, so thank you. (Your channel also introduced me to PdM *Safanad* , which I adore, and Granada & Orchidee Vanille together remind me of the inviting nature of it!) Wishing you--and everyone--good health and comfort during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ylang and Sunshine sounds amazing. I have never paired Sunshine with anything because it is such a strong, distinct smell..definitely will mix them. Great combinations. 💕💕💕💕
My favorite layering combo for summer: Hermes Eau de Mandarine Ambree + Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo di Sicilia. They go so well together, I made a decant of both of them together.
Aghh, now have to get Grenada! My favourite layers are Mancera's Velvet Vanilla with Coco Vanille, BR 540 with Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse or Prodigieuse le Parfum, and Golfield & Banks' Southern Bloom with TF Velvet Orchid. these combos get lots of compliments. I'm going to try Ylang and Sunshine tomorrow 😎🤩
I don’t have Vaniglia but the closest to vanilla mashmellow scent that I have is Ariana grande sweet like candy and OH MY GOD IT WORKED I got compliments so much when I was wearing it with angel muse

Demi you look gorgeous in this video! 😍 I'm digging the high pony with the off the shoulder leopard print. Thanks for the recommendations... nice job! 🤗
I've tried 'Good Girl Gone Bad' with 'Delina' as didn't get a strong rose note with 'Delina' but I do with GGGB (which is also much stronger) It's kind of rose with Love Hearts sweets on me :)
Hello Demi, Im curious why Jo Malone fragrances do not come up in your reviews (or Jeremy's) What do you connoisseurs think of the Jo Malone house? Love your vids!
Jo Malone has a major issue with longevity it's well known in the fragrance community. I know Jo Malone was sold so I am not sure if this was always an issue but definitely has been a problem for at least two years. A lot of people want this fixed before promoting the brand. It's a pity because that line does have some gorgeous scents.
@@dabarefootbombshell The longer lasting perfumes have more hydrocarbon chemicals (cancer causing)- aromatic bonds that do not breakdown in the liver; therefore making them carcinogens). So maybe it is good to just reapply? I agree, many great scents in the JM house:)
@@MannyWC I disagree. I see a lot of natural fragrance companies especially in the last three years that avoid cancer chemicals and have much better performance than Jo Malone. I have a scent from her that is gone in 45 minutes.

That always depends on the fragrances you're mixing and on your personal preference. Demi already had a video on where to spray your perfume (underwear, neck area/decollete, hair for instance) and you spray and layer as much as you like to. An example: You have your main fragrance A, but you want some more fruity, syrupy vibes, so you spray fragrance A on your decollete area as usual, wait a short time and spray fragrance B above it - maybe just once to test it, maybe twice if you like it, maybe more often next time. It's about trying and finding out what works best for you. In a way you create your own fragrance like that; you mix on your skin what smells best on you and evolve it to create a superior scent, it is just trial, error and preference. Started following you. Really good descriptions, congrats!! I’m just wondering how many perfumes do you have in your personal collection? :)
hello Demi, just discovered your videos and love them. Can you make one on "safe blind buys" on designer and niche perfumes, and also how do you store perfumes to keep the fresh. Thanks!
Do you know what lipstick Color you are wearing?
Please what is better for man ! Creed viking or bacarar ruga 540 ! Can u tell me because i will take one from this tow
Dear viewers, what can I blend with a leather fragance to make it less linear? CUIR de Russie (not linear) with what else? Also, Oud for greatness as a base and then what on top?
I really like how you say you get complimented, here is US, it's not a thing to compliment...it's sad!
why does everyone smells good
Demi what was the dupe for the Maison Francis ‘Rouge 540’ perfume ?? ❤️❤️
I have heard the ariana grande cloud is very similar. If I am thinking of the same 540 rogue fragrance. .
