Kereita Forest Hike and Zip Lining Experiences ✨

Kereita Forest is located roughly 60Kms from Nairobi in a town called Kimende. To access it, we used Waiyaki Way then branched off at Total Kimende and headed in the direction of The Forest. The Forest is famous for zip lining.
We did our hike where we were mostly under forest cover. Some parts of it were steep and we jumped over a stream of water inside the forest. It was covered in vegetation. It is easy to miss it so be careful and present when hiking.
We got to the waterfall and caves then had our lunch. We then did a photoshoot. Swimming is not allowed here since the water is deep and has mud. Meaning you could easily get stuck.
By the end of it, we'd covered 12Kms. A moderate level hike.
We then proceeded to The Forest where some of us did the zip line (2 lines).
Then we called it a day.
