This is the VFR approach to RW 17 at Leesburg Executive Airport. Being within the Washington DC SFRA (Special Flight Rules Area), and Washington Dulles International Class Bravo to the South and East (and above), this approach requires staying within the Leesburg Maneuvering area of the SFRA and out of Class Bravo. In order to land RW 17 you must come in from the North, and then make a tight 180 degree turn to a left downwind. Transponder is set to 1227 which is the ingress code to enter the SFRA for landing at KJYO. No ATC contact is required, just positon reports on CTAF and monitoring of 121.5
Perfect landing, one of the best I've ever seen here at youtube.

Not far from me; nice landing...
Angelina Jolie owns and fllies a Cirrus SR22. It's true.
Typical modern B-52 / 747 traffic pattern. Dropping full flaps on base that far out means any kind of power problem and your doing an off field landing in a fast airplane, not good! I've seen this guy do better approaches than this. Anticipate, when you turn base in a fast airplane you end up with a very long final, at least stay off full flaps until you can make the runway.
