You dont need to take the air con compressor off. Just remove the plastic under-trays. Compress the tensioner correctly and super slowly, and not to let it fly back. Since that would immediately break the tensioner. I did a 9000 Water pump 2 weeks ago and think it took about 1hr 10mins. Paul @ The SAAB Clinic.
@@theclassicsaabguy236 Yes trying to find 9000 CS wings in good condition is very hard. Ive got some brand new ones still boxed in stock. But keeping for my own cars. There is a company in Sweden that is selling Fibreglass reproduction CS wings. Think they are quite cheap too.
Sometimes you have to do what makes more sense. I often spend two days on what a real mechanic could do in half a day. I feel good doing it myself. However I miss out on working and sometimes don't have as much money in the end.

Hey Troy do you have an email I can get in touch with you on? I have a 91 9000 turbo and it's been sitting for 15 years, but it reminds me of some of the best times ive had with my father and dont want to give up. I would like to get in touch with you about me reviving it.

My problem is this wing now as I can't replace the plastic splash cover without that fix
