I'm 11:55 in... This is cute and all but where is oboro? And I'm confused is this place in first second or third year? Was this written before we found out about Oboro? In which case this author is a f****** genius. But also the trauma of the trio 😩🤌 I'm all for Canon divergence and I love fluff but The angst of Canon mixed with shipping is just so beautiful. A perfect opportunity for heartbreak. (Since you said you haven't watched the show for context Nemuri, Hizashi, and Aizawa did go to school together but they also had another friend Oboro. Oboro Hizashi and Aizawa where a trio of best friends but when interning they were attacked by a villain and Oboro was killed leading to lifelong trauma for Aizawa. But it's even more sad because the target of the attack was actually Aizawa. The villains had planned on taking his body for experimentation to turn him into a puppet to use his quirk. Instead they got Oboro. So instead of being dead his soul is so much trapped in his body and he has to watch by while he nearly kills his best friends and is forced to carry out villainous deeds. It's really f****** sad but has so much potential for fanfiction. Anyway Aizawa becomes a teacher later in life so that he can protect people from ending up like oboro which he thought was him not being ready for the reality of the battlefield. Essentially his sole purpose in life is pushing his trauma on wide-eyed children who want to become heroes... I love Aizawa) I don't even really like Canon I just watched the show for context for the fanfiction. But I will say the trios like entire backstory that is just fire. Love The angst. Someday I want to write a polyamorous effect between the trio. Or maybe more than one. I still don't know how I feel about the whole thing that Oprah technically died when he was 17 so even if they like drag his consciousness back to fully controlling his body or something or like time reverse him back to before he died then he'd be 17 and the other two of the trio would be full grown ass adults.... And like even if they didn't reverse him he still wasn't fully conscious after he died so I don't know I just love Odoro and I personally think he has lots of chemistry with his two best friends. Also I love tears and his whole situation is very cry worthy.
