  • My first time experiencing swampy water crossings at Green Swamp East. Our hike started Saturday morning and we park at rocky ridge road (free parking). Then we hiked about 11 miles until we reached mott hammock campsite but on our way there we passed another campsite which was only 4 miles out (Tillman). Need reservations for either but it is free. Next day we hiked back to our car which was 5 miles. Total miles for those 2 days was 16 miles.
I brought about 3 liters of water but we had plenty of water all around.lol. you also had the river but some sections were hard to access.
Campsite was huge so it will fit big groups.
As always please let me know know if you have any question and I'll be happy to answer them and Thank you so much for watching!

RIP shoes. Too funny, but not too uncommon. My daughter almost did the same thing, but with them still on her feet.
Great video, and a beautiful camp site. Thanks for sharing.

As you were adding to the fire I was hoping to wouldn't burn your shoe🔥. Like you said... lesson learned. Looks like you had fun. Tons of water crossing.

Wow! That’s a lot of water. Stinks that you melted your shoes. Quite the experience regardless! Great video!

I used to hike that area all the time when I lived in Lakeland and I remember the water walks all too well. You try to stay dry for a while, but then there's no way around it. But I don't know if I've ever seen it that bad, certainly not in April.

900 subs coming soon Marisol!! Great hiking vlog yet again.....Green Swamp is a place where we have lived nearby before. Yeah FL heat is coming soon....we are still hitting up the FL State Parks for our series but the heat and rain is a big difficulty for us

yeah i know trails seem a little flooded now and the heat and bugs are coming out. i think i will wait to resume florida until end of year. :) Thanks for watching

@@MarisolsAdventures Yeah our state parks will now shift more towards beach ones to avoid the flooded trails and also give us an excuse since it's hot to get in the water!
