Also the name of the video is literally just like the names of the ancients in rain world Ex: "Nineteen spades, endless reflections" "A bell, sixteen amber beads" (Chimney canopy echo and farm arrays echo)
Absolutely beautiful work in every detail. It was shared with me by a dear friend and I was grateful to be introduced to your work. Your emotions show well through the work and I do hope you can have as much pride in this set as much joy I had in listening.
This is absolutely amazing Makes me want to try and make something similar My favorite part is definitely 6:08 to the end of Raw and Unfiltered, if you see a spike of engagement there then that's probably me lol
This is genuinely phenomenal, and I mean that with all my heart. This would make a credits theme that'd bring tears to the eyes of so many people. The tubular bells are an amazing choice of instrument, it reminds me of Ever Grande city from Pokemon R/S/E, but I think it's pulled off even better in this song. Definitely going to be listening to this a lot.
Original music from Qwertz? And it's absolutely incredible! Yesss! This was an amazing musical journey to have gone on! Thanks for letting us come along for the ride! Incredibly beautiful.
I keep forgetting to comment on my thoughts about this despite listening to it a mandatory 4 times a day (seriously it’s one of my favorite pieces EVER) This reminds me a lot of Ultrakill’s story, specifically Gabriel’s. And I’m being entirely serious. The intentional angelic nature coupled with the length and ordering. A - Fall: God’s creation of and inability to control Hell for Humanity’s external torment. B - Wait / C - Development: The Lust Renaissance during the disappearance of God, and Gabriel’s dethroning of Minos. D - Soar and Shine: Gabriel’s first confrontation of V1. While I don’t hear any obvious undertones of overconfidence (how would you encorporate that into a song) it fits best with- E - Inconsistencies: Disgrace. Humiliation. When Gabriel is shafted by the council and stripped of God’s Light. Impossible. Heresy. Unspeakable. Heresy. Heresy. Silence. Also past this the connections get a bit loose because a lot happens around Heresy and there’s 2 extra sections that don’t fit into the short string of events at the end of act 2. F - Hopes Under a Starry Sky: AKA the ‘I wish G was before this so I could make a better connection with V1 just fucking off in greed and wrath’ section. I’d say this fits with Gabe 2nd in Heresy. Don’t have much to say. G - Benevolent Hauntings: Heresy aftermath, I guess? Love this section though. H - Petals: The scene with Gabe at the campfire that kicks off Scilence, Introspection. A’ - Raw and Unfiltered: Being the slaughter and beheading of the council, the current climax of Gabe’s story. CODA - A Delicate Thing: uhhhhh council aftermath? Idk, I should probably say something clever about the mystery of what to come with act 3 or smth Anyway, if I were able to reorder sections of the song to fit my crackhead ideas, I’d throw G as interlude between E and F, because in UK Gabe 2’s defeat flows straight into Silence, introspection and the killing of the council. Or maybe use G as the ‘Machine, I know you’re here. COME TO ME’ tunnel in 6-1. You know the one Anyway thanks for reading and tolerating my rambles 🫠
I know this is a double comment but I haven't seen anyone else talk about it and it really bugs me This is hands down my favorite song Every single part has so much emotion and power in it, the motifs from your previous songs all slowly leading up to raw and unfiltered which mashes them all together in this beautiful harmony you can't find anywhere else. That makes me tear up everytime I listen to this
I am just wondering, what are your motivations to make songs? In general but also mostly in particular this one Edit: Woaaaah! Your motivation must be some hell of a something cuz' thats song's fire! I really like the ambiance you create with the names of each part and the background, plus the really cool funky little parts! One thing I felt at some point is that the frequencies seemed a not to be enough on the lower end of the spectrum, feels like it could use a *little* something more? There is also a possibility my headphones are meh, and take this with a grain of salt as I am nowhere close to being a music expert. Of note: I realized my volume was a bit low too, which didn't help, but I still hold on to my point. Honestly, I loved every single piece of music you made that I stumbled upon, and seeing how little subscribers and views you have, combined with the quality of what you are making, I feel like seeing the rise of a really really good artist!
motivation varies from song to song. sometimes its mental struggles, sometimes its the opposite, sometimes its me just wanting to make some good ass music. sometimes its a remix of a song from a game or show i enjoy. this one in particular was inspired by a certain someone in particular who shall go unnamed, but whos existence is greatly appreciated by me. as for the mixing thing - funnily enough while i was still having people listen to this for feedback before release i had gotten a comment saying the low end was too intense. either way, im not too experienced with mixing orchestral tracks so there's bound to be some issues. always room for improvement.
@@qwertzuwu Thank you very much for your response! I think I somewhat understand what you mean about motivation, and for that person who the song is dedicated too, it's a pretty cool mystery from my perspective haha! But more seriously, that's really cool dedicating such "good ass music" to someone who that you value. I wish you the better and the least mental struggles, although not one single person on earth is safe from that. That being said, I shall sleep
On first listening, i though that movement g was weirdly happy, but after god knows how many listens i can safely say that its so interesting to the overall thesis(is that the right word to describe white im saying?) of this song. It has the drums, which only ever appear in the positive movements, or in lead ups to them, but the beat used is way inconsistent, taking inspiration from good-ole amen break, but does interesting stuff with it that A' doesn't do with it. The melody as well is using a triangle wave synthesizer(i think) which costransts heavily with the other instruments used. Im also 90% sure its a motif that appears somewhere else, but im not sure which one, and its been transposed into a minor key. The whole "sounding positive on the surface but as soon as you look into it you realize how much it has in common with the other negative parts" thing definitely has some deep stuff to analyze there, but im not musically literate enough to get a good picture, especially considering that this is one movement, and the others im sure have just as much, if not more to analyze about.
Is there any possibility that a midi version of this song exists in your files somewhere? Would love to be able to use that to be able to play this songs in games that accept midi inputs!
absolutely beautiful work. The use of the Touhou Tubular bells gives off similar vibes to Terraria Calamity Mod's music (Which use the same bells). Its so magical sounding. 10/10 Also if its ok for me to ask. What program did you use for the visualizer? I'm getting into making and uploading my own music and such but I lack a good visualizer to use.
