Great show, Carl! Spencer is such an important figure in the history of the club, so great to listen to him telling insider tales from the takeover. Welsh Beast rules.
great interview and a real scoop to bring Spencer on- I was impressed with his persona in the documentary and its good to see he really is genuine . I love that his ideas for the club is how it can be huge in Wales and with local fans and not wooed bu the glamour- he’s smart enough to know that won’t last and to use it to expand the welsh fandom. Great interview.
Listening to Spencer talk about his club, hometown, the county and Wales so passionately whilst unwittingly delivering a deal breaking sales sales pitch at the same time 👏👏👏👏 Brilliant No wonder RR bought the club and are now attracting wealthy investment into the Club, City and probably in the future the surrounding area Da iawn 🏴🐑
@@welshbeastvery level headed guy, not being triggered by a poor player performance, a bad run of games in favour of believing in the Manager, the continuity that brings, their player choices and then giving them the time to flourish, look at Marriot this season and now Rathbone, two players who fans were calling out in their first few games Surprisingly Parky and co know a thing or two about football
If you're listening to this - I'd say it gets progressively more interesting, and the last 6 mins are maybe the most interesting. Kind of the opposite way to usual. I think another episode which is more focused on the WST history and hard decisions Spencer and the board had to make then, would be super interesting context-building for this UK-based nu-Wrexham fan.
Appreciate the feedback mate. I definitely want to get Spencer back because there's so much more to talk about. Next time we'll hit the ground running.

This podcast is a Christmas miracle. Really great, Beast.
Mullin scored on Boxing Day. Great goal
Carl keep them coming! The first two were amazing. Looking forward to this!
Will do Michael. This is only the beginning. Although not every episode will be about Wrexham Football Club.
@ even better!

Maybe a young player with Marriott, Mullin, Lee, Faal, Palmer
Just think we should loan Mullins out, till February. Get him playing time in league 2
