For me Im a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, everything that happens in your life is there for a reason. God put every positive or negative thing in your life for a reason to make you the person that you are meant to be. That’s the way I look at it, wether your religious or not everything is the way it’s is to help make you into the person that you are meant to become.

Now regretting something isn’t the same and not being content that it happened. You can regret something but also be very content with it having happened.
