I was very fortunate to have worked in those same labs with Kaveh and Wayne for many years through Power 8. It's great to see RAS better than ever. All my best to them and IBM.
This is absolutely beautiful! The amount of work that goes in to keep our systems Alive goes unappreciated. Thanks IBM! When I graduate I hope there’s a job opportunity fore me 😅
AI & Machine learning capabilities are built into the Power 10 processor. Other systems need to move the data to some GPUs to achieve this. Apart from enhancing performance, this feature helps in improving data security as you don't need to move the data from the processor.
Feel so proud and excited to read this even though I am very familiar with SV, Storage things - IBM's history testified to the advancement of the hardware size from a room big to a chip small. Moore’s Law has been surprisingly accurate in terms of predicting the size and computing power of modern computers in the last half-century. Real Life 3.0, and Simulation, catch up with the trend, forecast the future, feeling grateful for living in this era!!
according to Yale Climate Connections, hottest temp in the USA for 2020 was 129 degrees F (Death Valley) & Washington post references some of the more extreme cases -56 degrees F in Minnesota for 2022. There may be a need to extend testing (environment temp) on either side of the board.
Nice I like it. i am thinking about the security point of view how we can build the code on Switches to secure the system. The system design by combination of software and hardware with inter dependent security structure may be beneficial to industries to secure data, and what are the different strategies or protocol need to prepare to show in audit, and how we can test this combine software cum hardware design system as both are interdependent to each other,

When you graduate, if you want a job in Dallas, let me know!!
I want jobs
Amazing how much work goes into hardware development that no one knows about. Love it!
Can't imagine that IBM is also able to provide Marketing spot like this video🙂 Power technology is wonderful as usually. Thank you, designers!
Awesome
Best explanation for systems capability, reliability, testing and environment controlled laboratories.
IBM Lab tour its amazing to see how these systems gets into so much rigorous testing. It explains the reliability of the systems.

So proud of you Kaveh! You're amazing!
Y'all are doing a great job with these! Making technical stuff entertaining!

I like how every component is so modular
Great video!
Do more videos about POWER!
Interesting beyond the box view... More power and reliability is what technology is all about. Thanks.😀
Very cool video!
Please do more of this IBM Systems 🙂
And I was worry about the cabling mess in the racks on the data center I work for ....

This is fantastic! Love seeing this BTS content. Keep it coming!
Great video!
Such an amazing information. Thanks IBM
Excellent server.

Awesome breaks it down to simple language
This is amazing !
it looks great!
All those professors and cables
Very cool.
Wow!
Looking to be a part of IBM
Cool
