I think Carla’s got some twisted revenge plan and is only keeping him on until she’s got what she wants and he isn’t useful anymore. I think she’s just acting like she isn’t. I can’t see her letting it go after everything and I doubt she wouldn’t do anything to help Peter. Am pretty sure she’s got something under her hat but is keeping it under wraps. She loves her husband and is angry deep down but is just keeping it quiet. I might be wrong but i just have this feeling, she looks like she has that glint in her eye.
