I watch all these videos and love watching them dance. Is what I don't understand is how do they switch partners? Do they do it after every song ? And how do they choose the next partner?
Just about everyone knows how to Zydeco. If you want to dance with someone just ask; most of the time they'll dance with you. There is no rule about when to change partners. You can change after every song, as long as your regular partner doesn't mind. One rule I've heard is that you dance the 1st and last dance with your partner/wife/girlfriend; the rest of the time you dance with anyone who wants to. It's also nice to ask a lady's regular partner if he minds if you dance with her and then ask her if she would like to dance (allonz dance'?)
