Yes,,solo as a Cleric can be slow but when it comes to groups and caves, people will be wanting your services big time as a main healer! You will be a vital player in groups and needed badly.
Can you purchase a better weapon in town somewhere, you are still fighting as level 4 with your starter weapon, just curious as to why, but I’m still enjoying your video, I just purchased a Pledge and can’t wait to start EA as my first time playing this, love Old School games, thanks!
yes you can buy next weapon or make it, I was making these videos to kinda show off the Chars and new looks that they have put in game at the time. an far as solo I would never try and go the distance in a mmo like this by just soloing or I miss the point of a MMO. clerics are a group needed asset for sure. I appreciate you doing this… I’ve soloed shaman, wizard and rogue to 5 and those were fairly easy. Enchanter has by far been the hardest and slowest. I really hope they get charm early and not at 10
Ahh, my VIP donor EverQuest Classic clone that literally doesn't resemble EQ Classic anymore. Glad to see how the project has evolved out of the people it was intended for. That regen rate while sitting is insane.
How doea this even compare to modern games like throne and liberty? I literally stopped watching to check the date pf the video cause i thought maybe it was from 2005
it really dont compare, this is a game been in the making for 11-12 years. and they have a long way to go. and I am having a blast playing Throne and Liberty
ya. they are working on changing that and add another hot bar, not sure if it will be in for EA or not though. they are thinking of just having 2-3 hot bars and letting us decide to put what where.
i think youre forgetting to use weapon techniques that cost readiness. balancing readiness and using the special melee attacks will certainly make the class seem more intersting. should be in spellbook depending on which weapon class you have equipped.
I guess I'll never understand people who want to play massively multiplayer online roleplaying games as a solo player. That's like wanting to play Dungeons & Dragons by yourself.
@@Gebo-kt3ir Just fyi, if you don't already know, there are thug/thief camps with group mobs (chevron on target window) near Availia that are good for levels 3 - 7. You can still get a feel for your class and be making far better experience than if you go solo. Don't get me wrong, I hope soloing is an option for the times when we can't get a group right away, but I hope it's a last resort in most cases.
LOL at times it feels like its falling for sure. But we can hope it has a parachute haha. I truly do not believe its ready for early release in December but we will give it the benefit of doubt. thanks for posting

This one and M&M are the only group focused mmos worth getting into for those who enjoy grouping up with others to overcome content
100% agree… i just hope they have a plan to accommodate soloing … that’s what killed Embers imo

Have servers gotten to a point where they are constantly online 24-7? Or are these test servers still only online at random times and dates ?
they are 24-7
yes they are 24/7 now and early access starts in December, In my opinion they are not ready for that though.

yeah 24/7 for many months now, the net code is pretty stable.

My issue atm is the strange way they have your skills/spells in 3 categories
I did re-bind all of them to be 1-8 which makes it a bit better.

I only solo to level 5-6 to get a feel for how that char plays but I am a big fan of grouping for sure.
