I'm so glad I chose a 2018 Honda PCX150 as my first bike of any kind. It's just so simple and supple. I've always been a huge fan of the Elites, and this is a great successor.

I have that exact model. 20000 miles on it now. Never had a problem. It is the best purchase I have ever made.

Cheeky seats makes custom seat covers for the PCx to help get rid of that hump. I got one for my wife’s pcx so she could sit further back on it.
Beautiful red color and a fantastic scooter.
I had a white Elite 80 with the front opening trunk and standard rack on the back. Also a 2015 PCX that got 115 mpg. The only thing lacking was a driver backrest. So now I have a 2018 Burgman 200 with a Utopia driver backrest and Shad Cargo topcase. Also had two Metropolitans. Scooters are super fun.

I bought a 2013 PCX 150 a few months ago for a nice price. I have a big bike, and look like a bear on a tricycle on the PCX, but I have really liked it! I bought it thinking I'd play around a while and then flip it. Now I've been thinking about buying a hitch mounted carrier for it and keeping it a while. The PCX is just a lot of fun to ride around town, and has enough power to enjoy scenic state highways (not quite enough for the Interstate).
I just got a 2017 PCX, crazy agile for in town riding. Only a bicycle feels as agile.
nonsense you have a right to ride on the interstate, just keep your blocking positions in the lanes, it's fun, people give you much more clearance than they would on a regular bike too.
There needs to be more 150 cc bikes on the interstates
You can legally drive on the interstate, if the speed limit is 70 the slowest you should go in the left lane is 60 and this bike will do 63mph, you can go slower in the right lane, I take mine on SH 130 where the speed limit is 85 and I stay in the right lane doing 63

I just bought a 2020 PCX. That year you had a choice of Red. Guess which color I chose from that list.
Plus: It has a high performance 149cc engine that pulls to 69 mph, measured against a GPS.
ABS hydraulic front disk brake.
Tool kit is neatly stowed in the seat nose.
Handling is sweet!
Minus: The seat puts me too close to the foot boards, so it'll be a little crowded for longish trips. Without a butt stop, there's no easy way to lengthen the seating position.
Digital instruments, grey on black. It's a little hard to see if the light is from the wrong direction.
Mechanical drum rear brake. Who still does that these days?
I mean, except for Honda and the Piaggio Liberty.
The "tool kit" contains a cable for hanging your helmet from the helmet hook. That's it. No actual tools.
Overall, I'm glad I found it. Scooters are in short supply this year, so I was lucky to find this at a decent price.

I bought a,2021 ice bear rocket 50 scooter.I just love it.It is a new improved model surprisingly runs and drives faster than my 2020 tao tao 50 scooter.It has led head light and runs super faster than I ever thought. I cruise at 40 on a slight hill upgrade and faster on a,slight down hill or flat surface road.I hit 45 to 50 fast..Everyone that wants affordable scooter like mine just check the net.For A ice bear rocket 50 scooter.I like your PC x 150 scooter it is really cool.
Looks like winner for me. I’m at a 55 mile daily commute in the suburbs.
2013 was the best pcx 150 model.

@@Greg-tj8rg I have a 2017 pcx now and the 13 has faster stock gearing from the throttle. You can feel it ripping away from the stoplight. Plus I thought it handled a bit better.
@@calgary2800I just got a 2013 and the top speed is disappointing. Is this because of lower gearing? My 1985 elite 150 was faster
@@paulc9322 About 62 63 64 is as fast as it goes depending on terrain, I ride a Burgman 200 now. I needed something that can go 65 mph to 70 mph for medium distances. It does get blown around a bit on the freeways however.

i just bought a new pcx 160, 2022.... still the same problems, the seat sucks! the rear shocks suck. 85mph top speed and almost 100mpg. no longer has the tool kit. the key switch is still the same. has usb charging port. but the dash is all digital.

Nice. I was going to buy a new Honda PCX for around town, but my local Honda dealer is selling a 2013 red PCX like this one for about $2,000 with only a few hundred miles on it. Think I’m going to buy it! 🛵 👍🏼

Thanks for this video, I've been looking at these especially since they came out with a 160 CC for this year, but as a tall rider myself how do you find your knee position for longer rides?
Knee position is good. Seat isn’t as comfortable as the Reflex but this is a great around town scoot!

I’m about to by a 2013 Pcx a black one with 298 miles on it for 2500..it’s from a friends parents that bought it brand new new but ride there bigger bikes or walk..1800 sounds like a super steal..do you think 2500 is fair or to high?

The Honda PCX looks kinda small for a tall guy. I'm 6'2", 190lb, 34" inseam and size 13 feet. Would you recommend this scooter for someone my size? I'm moving up from a 50cc Kymco Super 9 which was a tight fit.

I’m 6’03 230 and I love this scooter. It’s quick, for around town it would run 63 mph with me on it. It’s super quick and very nimble. Really great scoot. You won’t regret it.
