Gotta love Hiro Shimono as a voice actor he also did Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows and he always delivers the lines in a pretty wide and varied tones that befits each scene, he really works wonders with multifaceted characters or that express a good amount of emotions sporadically. It really sells Kokichi on his role as a liar and that he's so prone to it that it's hard to know when he's actually being sincere about something.
