This mini electric chainsaw is brushless. It's made by Sain Smart and it comes with a shock-absorbing briefcase, two 3000mAh batteries, 1 charger, 1 extra chain, 1 extra bar, 1 pair of gloves, 1 pair of protective glasses, and a cleaning brush.
The mini cordless chainsaw has 6" long bar and chain. There is a protective plastic guard on top of the blade, and an oil lubrication system, that keeps the chain lubricated in order to make the wood cutting more efficient. The oil container can collect up to 30ml of oil. Also, there is a safety start button as an additional protection.
This is a battery powered electric chainsaw. The batteries are the same as Makita batteries, which means you can use the batteries from your other Makita tools, if you have ones (I do). However, the two batteries that comes in the package are pretty good themselves. You can see in the video the amount of wood I was able to cut with just 1 battery (keep in mind that a lot of the cuts are not even shown in the video).
The company states that the mini electric chainsaw is suitable for cutting wood with a diameter of up to 14cm / 5.51", but as I have shown in the video review, you can go a lot bigger than that, even though it's less efficient than with a full-size chainsaw. The important thing is that, if you need to cut bigger logs, you can, even though it will be slower.
My personal thoughts about this Makita powered cordless chainsaw, are that it's surprisingly good . It feels heavy and sturdy. It cuts very fast and the batteries last very long. The noise it makes is not loud, especially compared to a full-sized gasoline chainsaw (your neighbors will be grateful).

The saw and 2 batteries are cheaper than 1 genuine Makita battery. That it is compatible with Makita batteries is pretty cool.
