@@KarynTan Hello, Karyn! Thank you for your answer and your offering! The others universities I'm considering are Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Wuhan University and Harbin Instituto of technology. I'm planning to study International Economic and Trade, so I'm searching information of the best universities in the country. What are you studying? Thanks for the welcome, you're so cute! 😍😍
@@jemiladavilagiron3861 In my home uni, I'm studying political economy with a concentration in china & korea, but while I was attending Fudan Uni, I was under their global studies program! Wow that's a lot of universities! I hope you'll be able to find all the info you need for them! Lmk if you have any questions about Fudan! Also, good luck with everything! :D
@@KarynTan I like your degree, It was my first choice when I thought about studying un China. Thank you so much for tour answer!! 😍😍 I'll start searching for more information, and I'll write you if I have any doubt. 😊😊🤗
@@KarynTan Hello again, Karyn! I'm applying now for the Chinese Government Scholarchip and I'm writing a letter to send Fudan Universit to ask for an acceptance letter into their university. Do you know/Could you tell me any interesting fact about it that I can include in my letter to show I have done research about the university? I've already wrote about Ma Xiangbo. Thank you anyways!
Thank you so much for uploading these videos. However, I have a few questions and it would definitely help if you could help answer some. 1) I am planning to apply the undergraduate programs - UIPE but I am having difficulty in applying it. It would be great if you kind of shared your process of entering Fudan University. Also if possible would you also mind telling me some info about Peking University. 2) No language barriers. Although I am applying as an International Student, I am able to speak both Chinese and English fluently. Thank you so much !
Can you please answer some of my questions? It will be a great help ☹️ ( I really want to study at fudan university but as a international student i Don't know about this University too much 🙁) 1. Do i need to take a admission test after going china or i can admit by my HSC 's score from my country ? 2. I Don't know chinese so can i study in english? ( sub: medicine, virology, Biotechnology, Biochem or mbbs?) 3. Is this too much hard to get admit as a international student? How grade do i need for enrolment? 4. Can i do some part time job for my Daily expense? 5. Can you explain the process of the whole think that what to do? :( It will be great help if you answer☹️
1. Fudan Uni published an official guide: iso.fudan.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/bf/a1/616207ad418796789d927b3e4f33/f9dce216-9e02-4207-a7f4-70075491d698.pdf If you are applying for their undergrad/grad programs, then it seems like you have to take the entrance exam and if you do well on that, they'll ask you for an interview. If you are planning to study abroad and are already enrolled in your home institution, and would like to study in China (for a semester or a year), you would directly consult with your study abroad advisor at your home institution. 2. Yes and no. Most programs are instructed in Chinese. However, Fudan does have a few programs taught in English such as MBBS (a 6-year medical program), UIPE (Undergraduate International Program in Economics) and English-taught master and Ph.D programs. From what I've seen when I was studying at Fudan last year, most of the English-taught classes were about economics and literature, rather than science or technology. 3. No, it shouldn't be too hard to enroll into Fudan; it's only difficult if you are a Chinese national student. I'm not sure what you grade you need per say, and I don't know the average scores for the people who do get in. However, I hear that of the international students who have applied to Fudan, ~50% are admitted meanwhile for Chinese national students, less than 1% are admitted. The odds are in your favor! (: 4. Yep! You're allowed to take part-time jobs during your studies, as well as engage in paid internships on campus, as long as you obtain permission both from Fudan and the Chinese immigration authorities. If they dont accept you, technically you could low-key be a private English tutor -- that's what some of my friends did to pay for their living expenses! 5. Do you mean more about the enrollment process? It'd be nice if you could clarify! This is what I know from the top of my head. I hope it helps! (:
@@KarynTan Thank you so much that you gave me reply...Actually I'm in college 2nd year now and after hsc i want to apply in China's universities directly i mean i wanna complete my higher studies there but as a girl you know that i can't go there to take admission test bcz if somehow i Don't get admit so it will be hard for me to handle everything alone and stay there alone without university dorm or something. And It's not about like I'm going there for a semester or year and I'm not in University 😅 i gonna take hsc xm in 2021. So it will be great if you tell that what to do for enrolment in my case😊 and if you tell me more about their requirement for mbbs it will be great help for improving my results in hsc...😄and yeah i also want to know more about scholarship in fudan university 😊 Thanks❤️
@@jannatlamiya6263 I remember when I applied to Fudan Uni, they didn't ask me to take an extrance exam, but that was only because I was an exchange student from a partnered university and only staying in Fudan for one semester. Hm, I think eventually you'll have to take an entrance exam though. I'm not sure if you have to take the entrance exam in Fudan Uni or if you could take it in your home country. Try starting an application with them and see what it says. There's probably an email or Wechat on their ISO (International Student Office) website where you can ask these specific questions!
You mean classes? Yep, they're on a FCFS basis, and ppl sign up for classes the moment enrollment begins (like within the minute- kinda reminds me of a virtual war lol). They allow you to select classes in 2 phases, but if you don't get into your classes after those 2 phases, you can go in person on the 1st day of class to gauge the situation. Usually the professors will let you in within the 1st 2 weeks.
Yep, there are many government scholarships, such as Chinese Government Scholarship, Shanghai Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship, as well as Fudan Boxue Scholarship and Confucius Institute Belt and Road Scholarship! The Fudan University Shanghai Government Foreign Student Scholarship (Type B) is also a bond-free scholarship that covers tuition and registration fees! Wish you the best of luck! (:
I love ur energy!
Thank you for this video, just what I needed now when I´ll apply for a excange semester!
You're welcome! Enjoy your stay there! 😊

I have a Chinese average of 95 at UCAS, is that good, and what would that be considered in the US grading scale?
