- The ugliest town in the UK, ugliest village in Britain or England - whatever you call it, this place has been called it all. But is is true? Together with @BellaDiary I investigate these claims. This vlog was filmed back in summer 2020 and it's just a bit of lighthearted fun. I hope you enjoy it! Have you ever heard of Dove Holes? What did you think?

Yep...even when riding through on my fastest motorbike, especially when using the clear visor...
As a Buxton resident my sen I truly enjoyed the video and dove holes isn’t as bad as it looks honestly keep up the good vids
As a local living in nearby Buxton, Dove Holes is a sh1t hole. Nothing good about it apart from when you leave. Everything is grey and dirty because of the road pollution from all the cars and heavy lorries on the A6 day and night.
Love that you guys are slowly back at traveling again. Let's do this!

I grew up on Ashbourne lane between Dove Holes and Chapel. Dove Holes isn’t bad and improved quite a bit since I lived there. There used to be big slag heaps from lime production on the right hand side going towards Buxton and I think there was another hill off Meadow lane that was a disguised oil storage tank. I might be wrong about that maybe one of the locals could confirm it 🙃. They are also building quite a few new houses there.
My dad used to be a car part delivery man and he had to drive to Buxton twice a day to deliver parts to mechanics. He used to drive through dove holes and long hill so much he used to speed down near those steep edges
As someone who has lived in Dove since they were 2 and is almost 16 it really does amuse me seeing how others view it. I myself like to flex on the fact that princess Diana visited but to each their own
My father came from Dove Holes and my grandfather was the last smithie who also ran the prize brass band in which four of my family played. Actually you missed 1345 magnificent things about Dove Holes at least.

It looks pretty average really, certainly not the worst in the country by any means...try Scunthorpe or somewhere like that
I always called it shitholes. Not a rough place its actually quit nice. Its just the main raod which goes thru the centre which makes up most of the town. Also even the fields round there are all bumped and horrible, as soon as u leave dove holes the fields become nice again 😂
We went there people are not friendly.

Can not believe you went to dove doing this yet you never explored near the quarry what doves renowned for. The biggest cemex quarry in UK.
