I watched the whole first season again this past week and weekend and i loved this scene, the music made the two moments be perfect. 1) Shane beating Ed to the ground because he hit Carol and 2) when Daryl found out that Merle had gotten away from his hand being removed. I loved it. I cant wait until February 2012 when the last half of Season 2 comes back on. :D
I read on his word press blog that the full soundtrack is going to have tracks like this one missing. Because its a show exclusive. What a crock. Music is for everyone to appreciate, not a select few individuals. This society we live in really needs to start taking a stand against all this , copyright, exclusive limited edition situation and start sharing more. Money certainly is not everything, if it even has a point. Thanks uploader for supporting my point. Incredible series.
For anyone looking for this song: Bear McCreary did this version, but the one from the episode (sans guitar) is from 28 days/weeks later - "In the house...In a Heartbeat" from 28 days or "Theme" from 28 weeks later.
@OrdoMalleusArchive Also, yeah, you're right. Maybe there need to be more petitions for stuff like this. Or other things, to show that when we get a soundtrack, we WANT IT ALL! All the little tracks or if they can, all the little tracks combined into an average sized track. This is why many people (who know about them anyway) like game rips as opposed to official soundtracks.
@Matriculon I assume that you are talking about "In a House/In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy. If so, you would probably like the song from Call of Duty - World at War soundtrack. Elena Siegman - Lullaby For A Dead. It's a lot like John Murphy's song as well
@benjedimaster I took somehow liking to him. He was only character in the show to fit "Action hero" archetype. Scenes with him were intense. Id change all the surviving bitches on show to have exciting people like Merle show up again.
@MBenjo i've been wondering the same thing. he could of sawed through the pipe he was handcuffed to also. it was only an inch or so thick. perhaps the director should of had scratches cut into the pipe to show how merl tried to saw through it before lopping off his hand
if you watch the episode Tell it to the Frogs from about the time Ed gets his ass handed to him by shane till they find merils hand then add this extra bit to the end you'll have the complete song...its so badasss...man i want it but Bear aint selling it...I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT !!!!!
Does anybody have the full version of this song, including the begining. Because in walking dead it starts quiter and without the guitare. And i need that for a live action video i am working on.
Would you be able to get the song that played when they found Sophia as a walker in season 2 episode 7 at the end of the episode. Please and Thank You.
@freedo333 but at the same time, he was panicking and presumably high on coke. Yeah, it would have made more sense for him to cut through the pipe, but it's also possible he didn't consider the pipe.
@OrdoMalleusArchive This is the one I really wanted, too. It really is like 28 Weeks Later. Rip-off, and they won't even have it available? What the heck? Pretty much encouraging illegal downloads.
Thank you very much I been trying to find this everywhere but never could!
I took 10 years

Best thing about the 1st season is that they deployed so much unique soundtracks. Wish they kept that trend going in the other seasons.
costs money

Daryl - No Noo No Noo Noo Season 1
Epic theme, perfect fit to the situations it went in...
So there is no full version of this song? What a shame, it's a good song. One of the best build-ups in the entire series so far!
Bear McCreary is a mad genius !
for the record bear mcreary is a frakking genius
@MBenjo and because handcuffs are extremely hard to cut wuth a hacksaw, especially a blunt one. Bone is much softer lol
Bear McCreary is a frakking genius
Thanks uploaded, Everyone give him a hand.
@MBenjo because the saw was to "dull" or something like that ill go make sure though.
Fantastic.
@OrdoMalleusArchive

@OrdoMalleusArchive We can't forget the difference between a creative artwork and a copyright or patent though, and that line is rapidly blurring.
Just even BETTER XD

I LOVE IT !!!!! 😘😍
@Matriculon I thought I was the only one. When he started beating up the guy, i remembered the part when them main char in 28 days later went psycho.
@MBenjo i've been wondering the same thing. he could of sawed through the pipe he was handcuffed to also. it was only an inch or so thick. perhaps the director should of had scratches cut into the pipe to show how merl tried to saw through it before lopping off his hand
NOOOOO!!!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! NO!
Merle! why dont wait for Darly and Rick! why you did cut your hand! you little betch!
Lol he thought they was gone forevah!!!
Eren Tuğberk Deniz and zombeys were cumin
"No NO NOOO!"

@0180917 Lmfao, I think he sort of sounded a bit like Timmy from Southpark when he was screaming. LOL
@griffin7474 I agree completely.
No, this was when Rick,Glen,T-Dogg & Daryl return for Merle... the song when Glen was talking to Rick is Spack Junk
Handcuffs are hardened steel, designed to be very hard to cut with your average hacksaw blade.
but this song sure as shit reminds me of that song from 28 days/weeks later. It has the same effect on me. Awesome
If that guitar wasn't in it, I would have loved it a lot more.
Just remember you wanted it. Don't be surprised when it happens.
While I certainly agree with you, many of these tracks are simply too short to put in an album. :(
Daryl ''NO!!!..... NOOO!!!...NOO!!!.....
@griffin7474 i also liked it without the guitar
This is amazing. Is there a download for this song without the gutair!??
Where I m can find the full version of this song?Help, who are knows.
Noooooo!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Also, I really really need this track.
@Matriculon probably because it's almost exactly the same bass line. =D But I'll forgive Bear because he's awesome.
@GreenskinHolland What the hell are you talking about acoustic version?
@OrdoMalleusArchive This is the one I really wanted, too. It really is like 28 Weeks Later. Rip-off, and they won't even have it available? What the heck? Pretty much encouraging illegal downloads.
This song is similiar to the 28 Days soundtrack "In a house In a heartbeat"
this is great but do you know where i can find the original??
Anyone got the version without the guitar?
@griffin7474 i concur
28 Days later.
@wesker858858 Hell yeah, a real man cuts his own feet off instead of undoing his shoelaces!
accoustic version is way better imo. to bad that one is so short. Anyone know a way to get the accoustic version only more duration like this one?
nooo!! NOOO!!! NOOO !! NOO!!
@OrdoMalleusArchive
So we won't get this awesome track even if we buy the soundtrack?
.......
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Well maybe there should be 2 albums...1 with all and the other with just the longer ones...
Epic scene, though I don't know why Maurel didn't cut the handcuff instead of his hand...
Daryl Dixon : Nooo!!.
I liked it ALOT without guitar solo. Sounded better and more dramatic.
What is the name of the song?
whats the name of original song?
@Aasin Apples. Yeah the walking dead instrumental is way better tho
i dont remember this song being in the series lol.
@baileyandlucy123 Seriously? The wild/ugly guitar IS the song. Take that away and its just some shitty rip off of "in a hearbeat"
Its better without stupid solo.
