Ohm II: the way/direction it opens - goes the climber. That's just my intuitive way of loading the rope, also applies for the orig. Ohm. My belayer is 46kg, I'm 86kg. It works like a dream here in Europe, where the first (and second) bolts are sometimes really high. Not that of a hard catch after ca. 6-8 meters either, because of the rope. Oh and I use Edeldrid Bulletproof Screw Ecos. Safety first. Good content, thx and keep on sending 😊
I will say I have a Ohm1 and got a Ohm2 to try. The Ohm2 was too harsh for me and my belay they lost feeling of my leading the rope and barely moved so was a much harder catch for me. Still fine. But harder.

Eh ZAED is the way to go. No such thing as a soft catch with the ohm.
I added a swivel to the ohm 1 between the device and the quick draw, works great, no need to think while on the wall.
Wich swivel did u use and how did u connect it?
Genius!
Hello I dont think the dicount code works. What items are covered with it
What is the weight differential between you and the belayer?
For us it's 100% or 50kg
Ohm2 also works well on top rope belaying
Get a bauer Espressi.
100% better
Oh they upgraded the Zorro! Looks nice but I'm struggling to find a supplier to Australia
@@MountainMullet you could write an email du Matthias bauer. Maybe he he an idea….
