Holy cow, this was amazing!! I love how we got to see little bits and pieces of his old personality throughout (I also think it could be safe to assume that the closest we might've gotten, to having a glimpse of what he was actually like, was in the beginning). Also, I'm very curious as to what might've been in those files (while I'm glad that this new "owner" didn't push it on the first flipping day of interacting with him, I wonder if that information could end up being relevant sometime later on?
Anyway, amazing job with this (as always)! Not only are you a great actor, but a great writer too! Wether you decide to make this a series or just leave this story where it is, I'm just glad I get to have a glimpse at some more of your skills!
Aww, thank you! 😊 Exactly what's in those files is something of a mystery, however I imagined them as containing a series of annotated sensory data recordings from the most important moments in the speaker's life (lives?). When played back, they'd be something like short VR experiences with commentary by the speaker. One of the reasons the speaker didn't want to share the files is that to show them to the listener, they would need to relive those moments in their mind.
@@NaughtPlusZero oh shoot, that makes a whole lotta sense (Jeez, I'm sure reliving those moments probably would be traumatic).
The transition from the initial to the reset was jarring, but the pleading was even worse 😢😭. The music and sound effects in this one are amazing btw. Excellent work as always!!

Excellent job with this script and voiceover! The effects on the voice during the periods of stress were very effective. You portrayed the emotions for this character fantastically; I *love* robots, AI, androids, etc. with emotions so much. Especially love the switch from exasperated and semi-functional in the beginning to freshly booted and reset. If this were a tv series or something, this character would definitely be high up in my list of favorites. You're goated as always! Thanks for the content. Take care of yourself. :)) 💙

Each time you hear his voice distort, the speaker is overloading and having their thoughts freeze up. He still has fragments of his "old" and "new" personalities intermixing throughout.
