Started playing AC with controller, thought I was fast enough placing 7s and 8s in 32 person races. Got my wheel I couldn't even finish a race BUT, I had sooo much more fun, I started driving SOOOO much smoother in my IRL daily life. Genuinely learned to feel cars out and stopped relying on what I could only see and as pieces fell together, I picked up Kart Racing and I attribute everything to the wheel. Play how you want to play but man there's just a bit of magic that a wheel brings to your life, drunk driving was never this much fun, don't have to buy gas, no tires nothing but pure enjoyment. (once you get past that slight learning curve)

@@GiannYT i recommend u download a script, it helps a shit ton, and dont download a drifting script cuz ur gonna be wobbling around the hightway. and some people do certi runs on controller and its way better than keyboard

The controller scripts are crazy for assetto corsa, I tried to drift using a DD wheel, only managed a few corners, on controller I could do the whole track over and over
There are some Game Pad Assist that pretty drives for you, used to play with it and i uninstalled assetto because it's too easy.. Try it and you'll see

you should play the calm bit of 505-artic monkeys in the background (how'd you get the map i got asseto corssa i just don't know how to do the mapping bit 😭😭😭)
Look up guides on youtube about setting up content manager and for this map specifically, shutoko, just know asetto corsa is extremely difficult and this takes alot of hours, and make sure u get ur ffb settings right.
I have a genuine question, is this better than playing on mouse steering?? Especially for drifting cuz thats what i use AC for mostly, ive been playing AC with mouse steering for years now and i feel like mouse steering is really good for it if you cant buy a wheel

@@surellow BeamNG better, LFS better. And technically, especially in UI department, asseto is a brain tumor. I refunded it because after the first hour I was still calibrating settings instead of playing the damn game.

Bro I use a controller 💀 but I'm all seriousness, I mainly use it cos I have the most skill in using one, I don't have a sim setup (shits too expensive) and finally it's cheap
remember every1 on controller GET A SCRIPT and dont make the same mistake i made, i was using a drifting script for cutting up. it makes your car wobble like crazy so get u a cutting up script or press r3 in game thats how mine switches from grip to drift . . . good luck
