I would never force my parents to move into a retirement home like Jacob did with his mom. I would never be able to live with myself if I did that because I would instantly and I mean instantly regret my actions. I love my parents so much and couldn’t have asked for better ones.
Sean, I agree with you he was our of line. I had to place my mom 3 years ago unfortunately. Long story short, she kept falling and refused for me to hire additional assistance or buy necessary equipment to lift her up. She was semi paralyzed, trust me I regret it everyday because she died 2 years ago. I didn't do it for money, she kept getting hurt and the ambulance was showing up everyday. I did it out of love. What a narcissistic and Selfish person. He deserves nothing. He made his own mother move into a retirement home and had his friend Doctor, make her incompetent without even meeting her. He needs to learn his lesson. Glad his sister left him with nothing. I hope if he appeals it to the court, they throw it out.
I had one vulture and two silent sisters after my mother died. Mom was ill in the hospice bed at home and the vulture wanted to split out gold ingots. The silent sisters said nothing. I said no. The vulture still made away with some ingots before we split the rest up (those came in full cases, not portions of a case; and I found an itemized list of the ingots prepared by mom that proves the cases were full). But we all have to meet our Maker eventually.
