    This is incredible. Why? It's the first time I've hear of an person speaking zero English mimicking English. It's VERY interesting seeing what words are legible, selected by sound. vs. others vocal patterns which are familiar, but not.... really weird, but cool.

      WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! IT IS AS CLEAR AS A BELL TO ME:
      Well, we sank our shoes in the hillbilly scene
      In a hurry maybe we can color boss time
      Brrrrr, chance in mind, with heat and cold,
      We maybe should stay at New Johou
      When we sank our shoes in the hillbilly scene,
      If we hurry, baby, we can color boss tie
      Whether she stained it with coffee or steam,
      You gotta tell her that Jessica's papers are jammed
      You be comin' up, choose my wife,

      Just get her undercover no time
      What's the difference to Stan when you
      Choose your cummerband?
      You can just tell them that Carl's afraid of girls...
      Oh, Sunday
      My eyes can't translate, and it hurts the girl with hazel eyes
      And they called and they say they're
      Freezin' cold and dancing their shoes off;
      All right!
      My eyes might translate, and it hurts the girl with hazel eyes
      Freezin' cold and dancing their shoes off;
      All right!
      What else you know, Skipper?
      I been keepin' the scene;
      Got to choose the number golf hole
      Hard to contain where phrases go
      We can see him in the stand, we can shoot the cummerband;
      There's just too many cars and over 400 lives at stake
      My eyes might translate, and it hurts the girl with hazel eyes
      And they called and they say, " We're freezing cold and dancing our shoes off;"
      All right!
      What else you got, girls? "We got Adam and Dawn;
      Let's pay for that action like Britt Guillaume
      My eyes can't translate, and it hurts the girl with hazel eyes
      And they called and they say they're freezin' cold and dancing their shoes off;

    My brother, who passed away last year, spent his last 20-25 years in Italy and really liked Celentano and Zucchero. Anyway he sent this to me about 6-7 years ago and I loved it. Every time I hear it, it sticks in my head for a while. Celantano found brilliance with this one, imitating how English sounded to most Italians. BTW, the woman that stood up in the back, with the white top, that also was playing the harmonica at the end, is his wife, Claudia Mori. There IS another segment that he performs with Raffaella Carra that's danced in a Ballroom.
    Also BTW, never saw Fargo.

    epochales Meisterwerk - da steckt schon viel von der Techno Musik als unbedingter tanzgroove drin - wen dass nicht packt - ist vermutlich tot - und die Bewegungen von ihm : singulär! - das Lied -und die Videos holen mich aus jedem noch so tiefen Loch heraus: aurales Antidepressivum ! die Choreografie der Tänzer in dem video mit Raffaela Carra - es passt einfach alles zusammen - und das alles noch vor der discowelle in den 70ern - mit einer erfundenen phonetisch Sprache - die in etwa ausdrückt, wie Italiener die amerikanische Sprache empfinden, vom Klangbild - und letztlich noch einen Titel des ganzen, der dafür sorgte, das dieses juwel von jedem mit etwas mühe und aufwand gefunden / wiederendeckt werden musste ( bei mir 13 jahre / prä - internet ) ! Kommerziell haben sie es bestimmt als totgeburt erwartet: Hey, wir nennen den song so - das ihn sich keine sau merken kann, und jeder der es wagt sich doch zu äussern, von anderen als nicht mehr ganz dicht , vermutlich im prä-Delir lallend, abgetan wird.....schon etwas unorthodox.
    Das beste dabei : jeder kann inbrünstig mitsingen bzw sprechen, ohne Texthänger befürchten zu müssen - weils ja nicht mal übersetzbar ist - per se sinnfrei - inhaltsleer - und sich damit so unangestrengt an den rhythmus einpassen lässt. Rap Elemente - ikk hör dir trabbsen! auf den genialen Zungenroller freu ich mich jedesmal, und kanns nicht lassen, meinen monitor voll zu spucken!
    fällt einem irgendein, auch nur annährend ähnlich geniales werk diesbezüglich ein?
    es hebt sich ja auch komplett aus den sonstigen Liedern die er gesungen hat ab - hoffentlich fragt jemand Adriano nochmal irgendwann über die genese des Songs aus , und die damals vorherrschenden bewusstseinszustände, damit man in ferner zukunft einen abendfüllenden film daraus machen kann, den aber kaum einer sehen wird: boah! ich hab nen geilen film gesehen , handelte von einem italienischem musiker, der voll das abgedreht geile Lied kreiert hat, vor 100 Jahren, so 1973 rum!
    ja? und wie heisst der Film?
    penzili.... prinzipillli ... prisenzisensi ... irgendwie so - kann mir den Titel einfach nicht merken. Aber echt geil!
    Prisencolinencineinciusol ( lässig hin getippt! - meine Damen und Herren! ) for ever!
    das Schreiben hat meine Ohren ganz feucht gemacht .....es funktioniert immer!

    Personally, believe that this song, in a way, hypnotizes the viewer. The Rhythmic swaying. The weird hip movements, not an actual language so you’re not paying attention to the lyrics so much that You’re not FOCUSING on any implied story or poetry so you’re just entranced At the bright colors, the movements and a continuous simple drumbeat with a rock jazz hybrid sound. Love it

    very catchy and mesmerizing, I love it. R.E.M. once said not to pay too much attention to the lyrics of their early songs as they really didn't mean anything, just random phrases.Still enjoyable to listen to.
