Cheryl, what a life savior you are. Your explanations are so easy to follow and understand. Today I had my Biology exams, the final IB exams, and I can easily say I would not have been able to do it without watching all of your videos. Thank you so much!!
Heya! Just wanted to say great video, Glad you went in such detail, they don't do that in my schools I'm glad to know if I ever am screwed I know exactly who to turn to Cheers!
first of all this was a great video but at 0:39 there was a mistake where you said that van was the one who named the cells while when I search it both on google and in the ib biology book it says the cells got their named from Robert Hooke please explain if I am missing anything.
do ALL cells originate from replication of zygote? does this include gametes? like ik that gametes are formed using the dna of zygote, but isnt that through meiosis? but does it not matter because the gamete will still indicate the same person... im confused haha and i have the bio final the day after tmr...

thanks a lot. It just made my revision much easier.
Hands down the best teaching video on TH-cam that I’ve ever watched. You taught me more than my own bio teacher did. Thank you !
I hope we can all agree here that IB Bio is too much content

I remember these were very useful when I was preparing 4 years ago now. Watched them all back then.
I'm happy that I found this channel before I started IB bc now I know where to go to when I'm confused! :)

Is this for sl ib biology only or does it include hl content as well
unit 1 does not have any additional hl work, so this is SL :)
Can I ask whether it's sl or hl for ib bio? thx:)
The first unit of biology is for both hl and sl and it doesnt have additional content for hl 😸
