So, I don't know what church you all attend or attended, but growing up, preachers, especially guest preachers, are almost never in the pulpit while service is going on. The anointing is going to flow regardless. The ministry of God is to prepare you for the Word. This is like this at churches in the South and the many churches I have attended. If you are that easily distracted, then you need to turn your eyes away then.
The next time something is televised or recorded I pray that all the walking would cease before the anointing starts flowing. It's just a distraction to watch and disrespectful to the artist
They were walking because they were bringing in the guest preachers and invited guest into the service. As you can see the walking didn't stop her from ministering to the people.
I grew up in church and this was OUT OF ORDER! The Bible teaches, everything in it's time and these so-called church-folk, were just not together and they were disrespectful. It's not about meeting and greeting brothers and sisters coming in, if they are late to service, they should sit in the audience until after the word is given. She was delivering the word in song. Did everyone miss that???
Is it not out of order for guest choirs and soloist to be walking and talking while a preacher is ministering? Is one ministry more important than another ministry? Does it all work together for good for those who love the Lord and are call according to his purpose? Why were they not on time? Should they have already been seated and been part of the worship and praise service? Is distraction during service a "trick of the devil?" I am watching it on TH-cam ,but how did the people see it who were there amongst the distractions? It seemed out of order on this video!
I'm not trying to be rude but I don't understand why people are concerned with whose walking! If you are focused on God and the words Leandria is singing then the walking shouldn't distract you.
I thought the same thing. They were escorting in guest preachers and invited guest. That is why they were walking. And the spirit was still moving with the walking.
She's a phenomenal presence hands down but are gospel artists compensated for their depth of artistry? She's won a Grammy Award her freshman release but does the church and its people "see" her financial appreciation as they would a secular performer? She has the burden of singing at a level you'd have to be an Olympian to achieve AND usher in the spirit of the Lord. For all the "donated" wealth given to the church, recording artists should be making at least 20,000 a service. Huge sanctuary and low pay for singers is offensive.
