Probably the most educational VF video to watch. Thank you for sharing your insights. Curious to know if there are any sensors installed across the facility to capture data for further yield optimization. Could you elaborate on how you capture data about crops?

Hi Elie, I'm going to have Dr. Storey back on in the future and I'll be sure to ask him about that. I'm sure there's a whole world within that to explore.

    I have several questions.
    1) How are the facilities protected against lightning?
    2) Large indoor facilities are subject to pest problems and diseases where all plants die. What type of contingencies does Plenty plan to do to defend against catastrophic die off? I think it is a mistake to grow in one large warehouse vs modular unconnected spaces.
    3) Most indoor growing facilities fail because initial buildout costs and the lighting costs are too high. Large greenhouses in the Netherlands were recently closed because of natural gas prices where too high to heat their facilities. Energy costs are not static. The public will purchase what they want to eat and at a reasonable cost. Is there any fear the facility costs will produce crops that can't be sold in stores because the per unit cost exceeds the buyer's wallet?
    4) You can control a plant's growth, but you can't control energy costs, buyer's palette or national trends. The systems Agrotech developed while selling to small growers... those system quickly became too expensive for most average setup farmers. Will plenty develop alternative revenue streams to offset any catastrophic situation?
    5) Plenty is designing their own technology. Why partner with Walmart? Nothing good will come from this...
