Un nome leggendario, dallo “Studio54” di New York ai migliori club di tutto il mondo, DJ Kenny Carpenter è un autentico mito del djing, ed il suo nome è associato ad un locale che negli anni’70 ha rivoluzionato il clubbing in tutto il mondo, e ha fatto della trasgressione, dell’edonismo e della provocazione, unite alla musica underground dell’epoca, i capi saldi della vita notturna negli anni a seguire.
Kenny Carpenter è considerato uno dei padri della dance, tanto da essere definito dal padrino della musica house Frankie Knuckles " The Legend".
Ha iniziato come tecnico delle luci in club newyorkesi come The Galaxy, The Inferno e The Loft, ma negli anni '80 divenne il dj resident del famoso Studio 54 (e ci lavorò per 20 anni).
